The Coachman was such a charming property — modern yet cozy, with a lot of thoughtful details that made the stay feel special. It had a relaxed boutique vibe, and I loved how inviting the spaces were, both indoors and outdoors.

So clean, amazing water pressure and hot water (which was needed after 2 days of skiing and snowboarding). The beds were comfortable. It was quiet. And close to everything. We walked to Safeway for drinks and snacks, MacDuffs for dinner as recommended by the front desk staff, and even walked to Heavenly Village. Speaking of the staff, they were all super nice and helpful. It made a great first impression. And then everything was perfect from there...I can't say enough good things about this place. You're right across the street from the lake, we were able to walk down to it even thru all the snow. The views are breathtaking. The pic is from our patio. We were on the 1st floor facing the lake.

The hotel is modern and very clean. It was very spacious and was able to fit my family of 6. Thanks to Alejandro, Dale and Angie. Alejandro was so helpful to aiding us with our needs, even though it was late at night. The morning buffet was great with variety of choices and Dale made us feel so comfortable. Angie supported us with the checkout easily.

    Loved the September weather.

Loved the September weather. The views of the mountains were spectacular. Just short walk to the golf course and the beach. We stayed at Basecamp and loved it. Great food and entertainment! Just walked out if our room to enjoy live music. It was perfect. Parking can be a little tricky but we were in walking distance of everything. We were there for a wedding. Rehearsal dinner was at Tipsy Putt. Fun place with miniature golf and drinks.

This is a ghost town, there no people. the restaurants are empty and not very good. We only found a Thai restaurant The Basil it was very good and Vino's Pizza also very good. Stateline is undergoing a huge transformation.

Stateline is undergoing a huge transformation. Harveys is being re-branded with a ton of construction. Inside was seriously a shell of itself. Golden Nugget is also under construction and remodel. The whole area just felt run down. Not the Stateline we remembered from years past. I am sure it will improve once construction ends, but at this time it is a work in progress.

Very scenic area with lots of water based and hiking activities. Lots of great places to eat with friendly staff. Guests visiting in the summer months should be aware of a daily resort tax which is not reflected in the booking.com price. We were attending a wedding at the North Tahoe Event Center, it's a beautiful facility, great location, supper attentive staff, parking fee $10.00. The beaches were crowded, after 5 it started to clear out. We enjoyed shopping in the area; a thrift shop, 2 antique stores and various other gift shops. Gardnerville is a quiet little city adjoining Minden, 16 miles from Carson City, and just down the very steep Kingsbury Grade from Stateline and South Lake Tahoe. Bus service is good to all of these places, and a vehicle makes them more accessible. We took a side trip to Virginia City and saw wild horses. There is a lot of history here, restaurants and bakeries, and proximity to interesting places to visit.

It's an awesome place to visit; the skiing is world class, and the views of Lake Tahoe are unmatched anywhere in the USA. There is so much history at this Resort. The "Base-to-Base" gondola opens up so much more terrain to ski. The "Village" is nicely planned with shops and stores and great places to eat. There is even a tiny Market to help stock the fridge (but only for quick items, essential). If planing on staying up there for a week, also plan on going "into town" to purchase more grocery items (a car is needed)... UBER prices from Reno Airport are about $110. LIMITED OR NO Uber services returning to Reno!!! Cost to Return can be as high as $500.... If you Uber, get your drivers name and number; make an arrangement to contact that Uber driver and have them drive you back to Reno at the end of your vacation: Cash deal; off the books; it would be like a private limousine service. (about $125-$150)
