Everyone i encountered working at the hotel was incredibly friendly. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and high quality. I could not hear noise from inside my room. The lobby is beautiful with plenty of places to work. The restaurant is excellent as well as extremely attractive and there is a nice bar area open late. Very convenient to visiting UCLA which was the purpose of the trip.

My stay at the Malibu Beach Inn was nothing short of exceptional. The breathtaking view from my room offered a serene escape, perfectly complementing the tranquility that allowed me to focus on a deadline and recharge. The room itself was impeccably appointed, blending comfort with understated luxury. Both room service and the Carbon Beach Club Restaurant exceeded expectations. I hosted a meeting with a mentee at the restaurant, and the attentive, professional service elevated the experience further. A particular highlight was the warmth and hospitality of the staff, especially the European receptionist who graciously escorted me to my room. Her genuine kindness made me feel truly welcome and at ease. If ever I seek a peaceful retreat from the bustle of Los Angeles, the Malibu Beach Inn will undoubtedly be my destination of choice.

From the moment I arrived I felt something you can’t buy or plan:authenticity,atmosphere and history.I was met not with formality but with grace.Ana from the front desk stood out. My Suite was filled with character! It simply exist in its rare category-where soul, service and subtlety meets.Every member of the staff was was utterly charming,attentive and effortlessly elegant. Beautiful hotel! Stunning , spacious & comfortable rooms . Rooftop pool & sun beds were amazing overlooking the marina. Lovely staff. Tea & coffee served in the morning. Only downside to this hotel is the high parking charge- we avoided this parking on a street 10 min walk away.

The Sherman Oaks festival was fabulous !

The Sherman Oaks festival was fabulous ! Sharky’s in Studio City was amazing, we go back every time went to Santa Monica Pier and enjoyed the ocean. Also drive up to Solvagna - excellent place to visit along with Santa Barbara. The Mission Market has great food. Go see the mosaic at the harbor and the entrance of the Santa Monica airport.

The hotel stay was nice had a couple of problems like number one the lights went out I don't know if it was a blackout or what but they did give us glow sticks and then the remote control to the TV was not good at all we could barely see what was on TV on the TV guide you have to actually flip through all the channels just to find the right channel but other than that everything else is okay I recommend to stay at this hotel

It has a bad reputation which I think is largely undeserved. True, a lot of it is run-down, but it looks to be on the up, largely because of the development of the new stadium. People I met were all very friendly. Don't believe everything you read - go see it for yourself instead!

Excellent Pre Cruise location and hotel services were fabulous. Would do it again and makes the cruise that much more relaxing to be able to relax at a very nice hotel the day before and start the stress-free vacation a day early.

We love staying at this location, because it is close by...

We love staying at this location, because it is close by other restaurants and markets that you can walk. This location is excellent for not having to get up so early for an early flight at LAX. The shuttle service is a huge plus for us as well. It’s nice to have a little breakfast before we have to leave. This is our go to lodging when we fly out of LAX.

Santa Ana is my hometown, although I live elsewhere now. Santa Ana has many sights to see. It is also within a moderate driving distance to beaches, amusement parks, and other entertainment venues. Santa Ana and Orange County are nice places to visit and explore.
