- From US$108.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,030 reviewsThe property is beautifully landscaped and the buildings are set apart from each other so there’s a sense of spaciousness with gorgeous, lush common areas. I LOVED the very low exterior lighting. Just enough to see where the garden borders are but not so much that the stars were blocked out. I loved that there were pet waste stations all over the place; it really gave a vibe that my dog was welcome there. The “partial river view” from my room was only “partial” because the river is half hidden by a terraced garden, which was not a problem for me at all; not like if it was blocked by another building. The view was beautiful! Incredible value for money!Guest review byLariSouth Africa

Beautiful sunrises and the frequency of AA meetings for me to attend in The Dalles makes it all the more pleasant and peaceful for this newly recovering guy to be in a good place mentally!!! I highly recommend Cousins restaurant for a delicious breakfast and if I wasn't on the high protein low carbs diet I would demolish one of their cinnamon rolls!! They are huge and look devine 🫶Guest review byAnne MarieUnited States - 6.0

This motel sits on a busy road. Traffic noise is an issue. The room was clean but furnishings were old and the mattress was ready for replacement. If you seek a lower priced, one night option, while spending a day seeing the Columbia River gorge.. keep in mind there is nothing luxurious to be found here.Guest review byarthurUnited States - 6.0
This is a lovely area of forest surrounding Mt.
This is a lovely area of forest surrounding Mt. Hood, which is worth seeing and visiting, as well as the Timberline Lodge. However, the main attraction is outdoor sports and breakfast at the Huckleberry Inn. If that isn't your thing, I'm not sure you'll enjoy it there. The drive from this area north to the Columbia River and Hood River the town is fun and worth it.Guest review byLaura CUnited States - 10

The location in the backdrop of the high mountains and the Columbia river below is outstanding. The trails around the property added a nice touch to clear my mind surrounded by nature. The meditation chapel I stumbled into was a bonus for finding a pleasant place to reflect on life. Eating at the newly renovated Elk Ridge golf course restaurant was great. We came back in the day when it was just a small bar and grill. Food offerings were broad this time. I’ll have again the steelhead and broiled asparagus. The golf course has improved so much and the greens were in great condition. I highly recommend calling in advance for a T time, because it fills up fast. People are catching on that this is a playable, yet challenging 18 hole course. The view around the golf course is stunning. We will definitely return for a longer visit since it’s easy to get there from Oregon. Who can’t benefit from a natural hot springs soak after golf or hiking?! Some guests at the spa were regulars for the massage and body wraps. They say the pricing is reasonable and really effective for relaxation. I’ll have to add that to my next visit.Guest review byLenoreUnited States - 8.0

Stevenson is a very cute small town, but as such there aren't a lot of nearby eating establishments. It has great proximity to Hood River, OR, and all that the city has to offer, which is a lot. We came particularly for Hood River's Fruit Loop, an annual family activity for us.Guest review byLindaUnited States - 10

We are infatuated with this place. It's the ideal size for us. Being hikers, it's convenient to stay here because it's located near all of the hiking trailheads in Mount Hood. If you're into hiking, this place is a great choice, Mt Hood Oregon Resort.Guest review byEdgelenePhilippines - 8.0

The reason we went to Goldendale was to attend the evening class at the observatory. That visit was exceptional even though there was too much cloud cover to see the moon and planets. The park ranger made the classroom discussion very interesting and informative even though the viewing was a bust.Guest review byMarieUnited States - 10

Sandy, Oregon is a busy place with lots of places to eat and things to do. It is about an hour's drive from Mt. Hood. Enjoyed the closeness of everything Sandy had to offer. Welches, Oregon was recommended for delicious food and fine dining. We planned to go there but it was the 4th of July and found it to be extremely busy.Guest review byCarolUnited States - 10

The Inn of the White Salmon was a wonderful place to stay: quiet, clean, and with a wonderful outdoor garden where one could sit and relax. The nearby White Salmon Bakery Company offered a tremendous selection of good savory and sweet breakfast fares.Guest review byRobertUnited States
