New York is truly a city like none other.
New York is truly a city like none other. It’s wild, chaotic, and unapologetically alive. At times it’s crazy, a little filthy, and yes — it even stinks — yet somehow it all adds to its unmistakable charm and character. There’s an energy here that you simply can’t find anywhere else. The city has an X-factor that draws people from every corner of the world, each chasing dreams, stories, and opportunities that only New York can offer. Every street feels like a scene from a movie, layered with history and heritage waiting to be explored. The architecture is breathtaking — from timeless brownstones to iconic skyscrapers — each building telling its own story. The people move with purpose, always in a rush, yet somehow the rhythm of the city feels perfectly orchestrated. Love it or hate it, New York gets under your skin — and once it does, it never leaves you.Guest review byKanwal - 10.0
I wish I had more time to explore the area.
I wish I had more time to explore the area. I was born in Queens a long time ago and there have been many changes I would like to have explored. I looked like there were many good restaurants in the neighborhood.Guest review byTerenceUnited States - 6.0

Need to stay at more places and explore more around Brooklyn, mainly explored Manhattan rather than Brooklyn so cannot say much for now. Can only say that DUMBO is an amazing place and everyone that can visit there should visit.Guest review byCanberk - 10.0

The Falls is a wonder of nature - definitely worth seeing, especially from the Canadian side. There are many restaurants close to the park and hotels if you like Indian cuisine or fast food. However, there are a variety of good local restaurants off both exits 19 and 22. A short drive or Uber away.Guest review byAnonymous - 2.0

Bronx is a good place but the house and all the shenanigans about no one picking the call but texting only. I thought it was a hotel not knowing it’s a house in some dark places in Bronx. I texted the person back that I’m not interested because I feel uncomfortable and have asked for a refund of $203. Shiiii….Guest review byPhilip - 10.0
I have a strange bond with this lake.
I have a strange bond with this lake. I don't know why. used to live in upstate NY and have been here many times before. Since I was just a kid. Been to many other lakes but no bind with them. Maybe the history, Revolutionary war buff. I don't know.Guest review byLupinos - 8.0

There are some great breweries in town, such as Fidens and Common Roots. I would also recommend Stacks espresso for coffee or breakfast sandwiches. Also worth walking around Empire State Plaza and checking out the New York State Museum as well as the large art installations below the plaza itself. The state capitol building is also very neat, although two sides of it were under construction while I was in town. If you're traveling through on the train as I was, there is a bus that will pick you up across from the train station that drops you off in downtown. It runs every 40 minutes or so.Guest review byKyle FlorenceUnited States - 8.0
Lake Placid is beautiful.
Lake Placid is beautiful. There are many things to see and do. however the prices were a bit high. Mirror Lake is wonderful. Didn't get a good look at Lake placid. Really need to shop around for reasonably priced dining. We enjoyed Mt. Vanhoven Berg. Enjoyed the Olympic Musem. Like most museums more fun if you have an interest in the subject.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 8.0

We were here just one day, but were impressed by the architecture. Would have loved to spend more time exploring neighborhoods and checking out the architecture. We had an excellent dining experience near our hotel (The Edward). If in Buffalo, try Mother's. Cozy vibe, great food and cocktails, reasonable prices.Guest review byGlenUnited States - 10.0
Cute walkable town surrounded by beautiful scenery.
Cute walkable town surrounded by beautiful scenery. Vibrant community. Many wonderful options for food and drink. I recommend Mix and Revelry Yards. There is a beautiful little waterfall hiking trail at the edge of town. The farmer's market was an impressive collection of produce, prepared foods, and artisanal goods. There is a huge park with paths, a playground, and kayak rentals. Ithica is a great starting point if you want to visit the many wineries on Cayuga Lake.Guest review byAlys
