The only thing I would change would be to improve the free breakfast to include a meat, eggs, maybe instant grits and oatmeal, and some fruit.

It is a modern hotel that is comfortable, stylish and clean. We walked to great restaurants and enjoyed downtown Asheville. That price was a little high but it was worth it. Staff was friendly and helpful.

By the look of the facility it is very new, The elevator inspection sticker had only one entry dated to late Sept. of 2024. The room was traffic and with the one exception - the light over the coffee fixing area had a switch but no light fixture, the bed was very comfortable, the window shade was unique for a hotel - vertical shade operated by pull chains and one screen and one darkening shade, the bathroom was exceptionally large as the shower was also. The lobby was large and comfortable and the area set aside for breakfast was exceptionally large and comfortable. The selection of items were reasonably good and the overall condition of the area was kept clean.

Charlotte, North Carolina, truly lives up to its nickname as “The Queen City.” It’s a vibrant mix of Southern charm and modern energy — a city that feels welcoming, innovative, and full of life. City Vibe & Atmosphere: Charlotte offers the best of both worlds — a growing urban skyline with a relaxed Southern pace. The city is clean, walkable in many areas, and filled with friendly people who make visitors feel right at home. Uptown Charlotte, in particular, has a lively atmosphere with restaurants, rooftop bars, and cultural attractions all within a few blocks.

There was so much that I wanted to do in the city, but my stay wasn't long enough. I was only there 2 days for Breezy Bowl but I see that the State Fair was starting 2 days later. Bummer. The ferris wheels were so pretty. Reminded me of the big wheel in Vegas that lights up. For lunch, I stopped at Nana Morrison's Soul Food before getting on the road back to VA. The plate was hefty and well worth every dime. Cary and Raleigh are beautiful cities.

When 2 elder people are accused of damaging property when we know one of your staff people had to have done it doesn't sit very well with me at all. It's sad when people won't live up to what they did and put it on 2 innocent people and be charged for it is wrong! I wouldn't stay at another Hyatt if it was the only hotel available. Then we ordered food from down stairs went pick it up and it was ready some 45 mins later. Yeah yall stuck! Never again in life

Definitely do the trolley tour around Asheville to get a feel of the neighborhoods. Woolworth Walk/Gallery worth the visit. Botanical Gardens was disappointing, maybe because of the time of year. The Omni Grove Resort IS a great place for sunsets and drinks, but crowded and expensive. We spent only one full day in Asheville, driving south. Will plan to return to spend more time. What YouTubers tell you about the bears and the homeless is true, but both kind of keep to themselves.

We attended a baby shower but had family over the night before and the place was excellent and accomodated a 6 person get together/Dinner. Durham itself is great to explore,.. with the Duke Gardens, Golf courses and driving ranges, Downtown Durham YMCA for basketball, colleges, and a vibrant Art community.

If you're going to the park, the hotel is situation close to the entrance. It's located near stores but not walking distance to them. The casino is located directly across the street. For the Sun-Thu rate, I'm not sure you'll be able to find a better place. Rooms were nice and we were able to park a few steps from our door. The breakfast was minimal.

I was disappointed with the stay. Check in took too long. While the room was clean, there was no shower curtain in the bathroom. I asked the staff for one but NEVER got it. I asked for additional towels, as they only had a face and bath towel in the room. They didn’t provide any extras. It was noisy at night. The bed was rather unstable. I would not recommend.

We ended up staying at the Hilton Riverfront Hotel and it was very nice as was the boardwalk along the river. We stayed at this hotel after we decided to leave the hotel we had just checked into (Extended Stay-Wilmington) because police had to be called to settle an altercation. Be sure you don't stay in an unsavory part of town. The riverfront hotels are safe and very nice, but prepare to spend $425 a night.
