Genrally a beautiful place.
Genrally a beautiful place. I stayed in the West Linn area and ventured around Lake Oswego areas which are both lovely pretty areas. Unfortunaltey when arriving via AMTrak into Portlands Union Staion, and walking around the streets to find a #35 bus stop to West Linn there were so many down and out druggies and homeless in the vacinity of the Station i had to turn back and get LYFT cab instead. I came back into the City to a weekend Market whcih was great near the UNI. but and as i walked down towards the River, same thing happend. So many homeless within the City blocks, I got back on a bus and went back to west Linn very sad and disappointing unfortunately. with in the city surrounds.Guest review byRobiAustralia - 8.0

We only stayed one night as we drove through on to Crater Lake but the little we saw, was nice. We had dinner at Pine Tavern (Not sure about the name) which is next to Bend Brewery. Food was very good as was the service.Guest review byAlejandraUnited States - 8.0
I've always loved this town.
I've always loved this town. Lots of events and good restaurants with lots nearby things to do. The only negative thing you have to deal with is the traffic but not really a way to change that. Just be aware.Guest review byKathyUnited States - 10.0
Don't be discouraged by the exterior!
Don't be discouraged by the exterior! Clean, clean, clean room-- big plus! Jeremy checked us in and was absolutely fabulous! Excellent location despite the online booking which showed the location on the beach. We were within walking distance of the Prom and beach. The downtown area was so quaint and close!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Hope to be back.
Hope to be back. Had a fine stay at the Newport Belle sternwheeler and wonderful visit to the Oregon Coast Aquarium. The Bayfront area was fun, especially the sea lions. Wasn’t able to hit many of the recommended restaurant options so have to return.Guest review byRobertUnited States - 8.0

Medford itself is a middle sized city with all the stores you might wish for but not a lot of character that I could see in the downtown area. However, it makes an excellent affordable launching pad for exploring the nearby artisan colony/ Shakespeare festival in Ashland and the nearby wine country in surrounding areas. We are at Ruby's (good burritos and burgers) and Rooted (plant based delicious food). Would definitely come again.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

Salem is quite small and unfortunately the state capitol was undergoing building work (it's one of the main sights). Not too many shops and restaurants downtown but the ones I went too were very good. Good place for a couple of days visit.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Stayed in Klamath Falls for a visit to Crater Lake.
Stayed in Klamath Falls for a visit to Crater Lake. Was the most convent location to the Park. Enjoyed going to the Crater Lake Ziplines Klamath Falls has a lot of fast food and pubs, but hard time trying to find a little better upscale restaurant.Guest review byTimothyUnited States - 10.0
Astoria is a fun place!
Astoria is a fun place! My husband and I loved the Maritime museum and the fun shops. We had a delicious lunch at MO’s and an amazing dinner at the Silver Salmon Grill. Sadly we didn’t have time to visit any of the art galleries. We will return.Guest review byKathyUnited States
