I love staff like Shaniq who are resolution-orientated. And she was so sweet and polite during the whole process. Please give this lovely lady a promotion! I've worked in plenty of 4/5 star hotels and this lady is a gem! We ended up getting the BEST villa in the resort in my opinion! The balcony with the alligators and turtles outside every morning was a dream! The 3 pools were amazing and accessible to people with mobility issues. The kids pool was heated which was amazing. The pool bar staff was lovely. The shop/restaurant was so handy for any little bits that you forgot to bring with you (but the convenience came at a cost). The free parking was a bonus. The cover was super soft, warm and comfortable, the pillow was just right and the temperature in the room allowed for shorts and shirts only. The room was perfectly clean and there was free coffee for in the morning. The pool was absolutely gorgeous at night and if you wanted to eat by the pool, you had the option of doing so, going for a swim while they prepped your meal and the server would call you once it was ready. Obviously the location was perfect for going to Universal. If you want to go to Universal, you just have to stay overnight in the Hard Rock Hotel! I wish we would have stayed an extra night, because I did not get to enjoy the amazing ambiance and collection of the Hard Rock Hotel to the extent I would have liked.Guest review byMaluNetherlands

The location of our rental property was centrally located ( 20-30 min drive)to all of the theme parks. While we only visited the Universal parks, Disney is just around the corner from the property. There are many food venues near the rental, as well as numerous Pubix and Walmarts to pick up any necessities. The kitchen has everything needed for a quick meal at home, if you so desire. Quaint old Florida town in the downtown area, nice lake front public areas. Tons of restaurants, people were very friendly and helpful. Traffic was heavy but moved smoothly. Great vacation area for central Florida. Convenient relatively to Orlando and Disney World. We had a wonderful stay! The house was everything we hoped for—comfortable, easy to get to, and had a real "home away from home" feel. The quiet neighborhood was a plus, and the backyard pool was a big hit with the kids. While the location wasn’t super close to parks and activities, the quality of the home and the host's quick, helpful communication more than made up for it. This is a remote place directly located at the Golf Course and the no. 1 choice if you have anything to do with Montverde Academy. It is the closest you can get to MVA. Any other location is more than 7 miles away. Orlando has 24/7 entertainment, dining and shopping. It's like Vegas, but for families:-) Love coming here, hate driving here. Traffic is combination of frustrated locals and millions of tourists with varying driving habits. Our country isn't known for good public transportation and Orlando is a shiny example of this. Personally, I am very easy to please, and Kissimmee was exactly what my family needed. The attractions are conveniently located. Aquatica water park was only a 20-minute drive, and SeaWorld was just in between. The Old Town House is adorable and caters to all types of people.
