Probably one of the nicest lodges I’ve ever stayed in. It was comfortable, warm, well equipped, screams intimacy and was the perfect getaway for a night during a busy week travelling. The spa bath was glorious, the bed was extremely comfy and cosy, the fireplace was lovely, the shower was hot and big enough for two. The kitchen was well equipped too. The location is divine, gorgeous little Brook running just feet from the back door. Incredible stay. Beverly is a treasure and we had a lovely little chat on booking in. The towels and robes were plush. Everything was spot on.

We come to Estes as often as possible.

We come to Estes as often as possible. We came up for the Elk Festival. We got good parking. We spent time in Rocky Mountain National Park. We ate at Subway. Bought food at Safeway for the morning and snacks at the hotel. We ate at a sandwich shop next to Safeway. It was so nice. I don't remember the name. We visited the Taffy Shop. But our goal was to be with and take pictures of wildlife. We were not disappointed. Enjoyed the Elk fest bugling contest. Ate wicked good food at the festival from venders. Stocked up on kettle corn and caramel popcorn. My dog was welcome everywhere we went. She is 10 pounds and well behaved and cute - so life was easy this weekend.

Beautiful view of the mountains.

Beautiful view of the mountains. Centrally located to any place I needed to go. Easy to get to Estes Park, Fort Collins, Greeley or Denver. The one thing I hate about Loveland is all of the roundabouts that they have put in. Many different very good choices for dining.

Good place to stay for visitors to Rocky Mountain National Park or other attractions nearby. Lots of restaurants and bars for such a small town. A lot of stuff closes early, but there was one place open after midnight for the late crowd.

This is a cute little community outside of Estes Park.

This is a cute little community outside of Estes Park. I did not stay very long since I had to return home from my vacation. While I was there, the community had a 4th of July celebration with a parade and community events. It was obvious that this is a close knit group of people! There is a gas station, restaurant, and a few stores. It is an easy drive to Estes Park, but without the overpriced lodging! If you want a laid-back place to stay after exploring Rocky Mountain National Park, this is perfect! The Wild Basin entrance to the park is just a stones throw away from Allenspark. BEAUTIFUL trail to explore!

Estes Park is delightful!

Estes Park is delightful! Such a pretty town with lots of good restaurants and cute shops. We loved our stay here. If you're visiting RMNP, highly recommend walking around the town center. Parking was easy during our fall foliage visit. Be sure to enjoy the river walk. Bonus- elk were everywhere!

The staff was phenomenal, breakfast was delicious every day, room service was excellent and the location of this establishment is great. Our room had a great view. The best part was while in the room you couldn’t hear any outside noises, not neighbors or the freeway. This hotel exceeded all my expectations. It truly is a home away from home. I would recommend this location all day every day.

I really enjoy staying in this beautiful little town.

I really enjoy staying in this beautiful little town. My dog and I love to paddle board. We go to Shadow Mountain Lake for that. What I appreciate about Grand Lake is early morning walks by the Lake with my pup. He’s a Lab and loves swimming. I also like it that I can walk to dinner with him and many restaurants allow him to sit with me while I eat. He’s very obedient and happy. He loves all the attention he gets ;)

We were in Grandy for a travel golf trip.

We were in Grandy for a travel golf trip. We played 4 nearby courses and enjoyed a Pontoon boat excursion one day and a trip to the town of Lake Grandby. Plenty of fun restaurants nearby and great City market for groceries and incidentals. The weather was variable with great sunshine most of the time and a few late day showers and thunderstorms.

This is our second trip to Estes Park in October; it is a beautiful place to visit. The town has lots of restaurants and stores. We were there during the fall festival and it was crowded this year, but we love seeing the Elk walking down the streets and it's so close to RMNP! Our favorite place to eat was the Estes Park Brewery, we got a flight of beer and two sandwiches, and everything was great! There is free parking near the golf course, everything is within walking distance.
