Hampton Inn Big Bear Lake is a great family hotel. We only stayed one night while driving through to Vegas but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfy with a big bathroom and very comfy beds/pillows. There is a laundry facility at the hotel too which is great. The included breakfast was busy but well catered for.

Really cosy little lodge, in a lovely location. Has everything you need including a basic kitchen and even a wood burning fireplace. Great, reliable wifi, loads of TV channels, parking space next to my cottage, and it's off the main road in a secluded area so it's really quiet and peaceful, but just up the road you have a 7/11, mcdonalds, dennys etc. Super friendly owner / staff who was very helpful and chatty. Great place!

Loved that the room had a view of the lake, making it so peaceful and relaxing, also the room was very cleaned but mostly loved that the property is right in front of the lake with easy access into the lake waters. Liked that the property is located very close to the village town.

The lake and the neighborhood is great if you want to just enjoy nature. There is little activities to do but just the necessities. Nature and history is huge. It is a nice place to relax and we went there in the middle of summer and the weather was very nice not to hot but hot enough to lay by the pool and have a nice mellow time.

Came in around December 2024 during the holiday period and was a little disappointed there was no snow available, except at the places for ski with produced snow. Nice place and can get crowded at some points in the village but worth the visit.

The cabin was a dream the amenities for my family were wonderful and words cannot express the gratitude of the owners. The beds were comfy and assortments in the dining room were amazing and everything was modern. It was very quiet and I was able to get a good nights sleep and enjoy what running springs had to offer a break from city life

We attended a wedding there and the location of the cabin was perfect minutes from the event. The only challenge there was the driveway little Difficult getting in and out not a lot of room to make a U-turn in a big truck.

It's alot less commercialized than Big Bear with way less traffic and people. Quiet and peaceful. But just minutes away from everything you need. I loved it! Watch out for the squirrels and bunnies! And I saw blue Jays and a wood pecker!

Very calm and serene. Scenery was amazing. Our accomodations were very comfortable. There is a lack of public transportation in Fawnskin, but once you are on the other side of the lake, Mountain Transit makes it easy to get around. Unfortunately the lack of transportation includes rideshare such as Uber and Lyft.

We are regular visitors to the mountains, only live 50 miles away, easy to get to for us. Prefer off season, not crowded, plenty of local hiking trails, we take dogs, pet friendly accommodation readily available. Plenty of local restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.
