Seattle for us was a welcome escape from Florida heat.
Seattle for us was a welcome escape from Florida heat. Fortunately the Seattle weather was clear, cool and beautiful. Pike Street Market would take three days to explore every nook and cranny. We took a walking foodie tour of the market and would recommend that for visitors., The aquarium and the waterfront were also fun to visit. There is cosmopolitan variety in foods at local restaurants.Guest review byNeilUnited States - 4.0

It is one of the oldest Airports I have been in over the years. The boarding areas are tiny and spill into the hallway, blocking traffic. Took 20 minutes to finally board the shuttle to the offsite rental space. It needs a massive revamp and modernizationGuest review byMichaelUnited States - 4.0

City needs to clean out its drug users. Not a safe place. Was stranded by Greyhound else would not have stayed there. Drug addict asleep in parking spot at Tiki hotel. Another banging on motel door. Bad bed, flat pillows.Guest review byCheriUnited States - 8.0

Beautiful little town, especially at Christmastime, with wonderful decorations. Chick-Fil-A is conveniently located, lots of little shops and a great Mall. Snowflake Lane's small show from Thanksgiving through Christmas is only 20 min, but worth driving 4 hours and staying overnight just to see.Guest review byCliveUnited States - 6.0

We were just passing by to head to the Hoh rain forest from Seattle and did not explore the city at all. So, do not want to comment. Heard some nice things about the place, but had no time at all to dig into it.Guest review byBalakrishnaUnited States - 10.0

Many stores close early this time of year. (Sept) The 18 hole miniature golf at Icicle Village Resort was challenging and FUN. Only visitors to the Fish Hatchery. Watched a coho salmon being caught for transfer to another site.Guest review byMarthaUnited States - 10.0

Bellingham has a really nice safe vibe. Family friendly, no skyscrapers, easy to get around. Lots of great restaurants, coffee houses etc.We much preferred it to the big city vibe in Seattle. Walking along the bay in Boulevard Park at sunset with the all the families was a joy.Guest review byKeir CareccioUnited States - 10.0

I only live 30 min north of Vancouver, my reason for visiting was my pets and 4th of July noise. If you are visiting the Portland Or/Vancouver area, the Vancouver side of the river is just less crowded than the Portland side. For a very good meal, Little Italy downtown Vancouver has been one of my favorites for several years great food and good people. Visiting especially down town Portland, I would recommend driving to the Van Port park and ride then take the yellow line train into down town, way easier and cheaper than paying for parking downtown. If it is raining go to the expo center park and ride, it's the end of the line there is always a train there so you can wait inside the train. In Portland, every one uses the train. And umbrellas are for tourist lolGuest review byrotharmel
