We were at the resort for two nights , that place is beyond amazing, the location is perfect , right on the 120 road , one hour from the village valley at the Yosemite . ( advice : there’s no signal at the area sometimes so just keep your map save on your google maps ). the place looks amazing everything was decorated for Christmas, the cabins were great size and prepared for family size , the heated pool and jacuzzi that open 24/7 is amazing and so relaxing after traveling at the Yosemite national park .the restaurant is super cool and great in price and quality, The main lobby was our favorite place to sit around the fire and just play games . I was so amazed from that place that I hope to come again in the summer .

They have a room option with 3 queen beds. Two beds are in one room, while the third is in the same room but separate /connected by a single door. You can have the door opened or closed. Very nice for families. Also a bonus the restaurant attached to this site. It's amazing 10/10 recommend.

Our room was very spacious—larger than we had expected—which was a pleasant surprise. It was well-equipped with a coffee machine, fridge, TV, and more. Free parking was very convenient. Since our stay was short, we didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub, but it looked inviting. The breakfast was also nice, offering a selection of pastries and cereals. Would definitely recommend this place.

FAQs about hotels in Yosemite National Park

Nature at its Immaculate Best

UNESCO World Heritage-listed Yosemite National Park is famous for spectacular granite rocks, plunging waterfalls and crystal clear lakes, immortalised in Ansel Adams photographs. Half Dome is its most famous peak and there is a hiking route up if you’ve got the energy.

At its feet is Yosemite Village, home to the only Yosemite hotels inside the park. Nearby is sheer El Capitan, popular with rock climbers, and the Cathedral Rocks where the Bridalveil Fall plummets to the ground. The Tunnel View observation point offers magnificent views of all this.

The Yosemite Falls are the highest in North America, but the park’s real beauty is just being surrounded by immaculate nature. From summer to winter Yosemite has a special draw attracting visitors year after year. It also attracts a wide range of native American wildlife including black bears, mountain beavers and coyotes.

South-west of the park is the forest of giant sequoias at Mariposa Grove. Mariposa itself is by Yosemite Airport and Oakhurst to the south has a good range of accommodation. El Portal has the closest hotels to Yosemite. On the eastern side, June Lake and Mammoth Lakes also have Yosemite hotels near the park available on Booking.com. Wherever you stay, bear in mind that some roads do get closed in case of heavy snow.

The property was well maintained, clean, and conveniently located. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We forgot our jacket in the room and they helped mail it to us later. The location was also good. We arrived in the late afternoon and went out to enjoy a quick evening drive along the June Lake Loop (CA-158) at sunset. Such a fantastic view and shade of sky!

An amazing and magical place in the foothills of Sierras. If you look for an old-style / rustic place with some character don’t look further. No your luxury brand hotel amenities, but it is in the heart of the region and has a good restaurant/ bar for reasonable priced food options.

We stayed at Tamarack Lodge for the first two nights of our stay. It was gorgeous there. The guys used this location for fishing. We added an extra night last minute, so for that we stayed at Juniper Springs. Another great location. The views at both places were amazing. The pools are great! The restaurant is AWFUL! I'd rather eat my shoe than eat at that restaurant! The bar/grill are ok, certainly better than the restaurant, but that is speaking relatively... The store is very nice, offering a good variety of snacks and drinks. The location is very good, just a few miles away from the Yosemite entrance. The staff were friendly and responsive. The rooms were clean, and, thankfully, the AC worked well (it was 109 degrees when we were there!). The bathroom lights turned on automatically whenever someone entered the room, which we didn't like, and would have liked a way to turn that feature off.

Fish camp is pretty remote.

Fish camp is pretty remote. There's a general store nearby that has some essentials but be prepared to spend a pretty penny if you need anything. Recommended to get supplies on your way in from Oakhurst and drive in to Fish Camp. Overall its the perfect spot to be close to Yosemite. For me personally I'd rather be close to the park than close to town.

Small town about an hour out of Yosemite. We didn't leave our cabin except to drive up to Yosemite so we didn't really experience the town. Hadn't taken this route into Yosemite before so was delighted to find the drive from Midpines into the valley to be really beautiful.

Would highly recommend to anybody who loves nature and hiking, and wants to avoid having to drive into Yosemite Valley + find parking everyday. There's a few nice restaurants within Curry Village, including a bar (get the smashed burger), a pizza stall, and a dining hall-style canteen. There's also a small grocery store and outdoor gear store where you can buy anything you forgot to bring on the trip. Overall, a wonderful location that I would definitely stay in again.

My husband had a great day of fly fishing. I relaxed on the deck with a good book. There are so many things to do in the June Lake area. We did some sight seeing. We usually come to relax, swim and fish. We ate at the Tiger Bar for dinner and as usual, it was delicious! We hope to be back soon!
