Our room was just across the river from the Cat Tien National park, with a balcony over the river! Very peaceful and 2 minutes walk to the boat that take you to the park in 2 minutes. Very clean and the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Pool is great! Food is very good and fresh and the restaurant has a super nice view. We greatly appreciated our 3 night stay at the Green Bamboo resort. A lot to do in the park, and biking all around in the park is super easy and fun. Liked the location, the swimming pool and views from room over the river. The cabin like rooms with stilts over the river and balconies. Restaurant on site was convenient and offered good dinner menu but noisy in the evening. Breakfast less good and room lacked some facilities, needed a bit of maintenance and updating. Cat Tien National Park is a wonderful place for a genuine...
Cat Tien National Park is a wonderful place for a genuine rainforest/jungle experience and, if you’re quiet and escape the weekend crowds, you can see some incredible wildlife. Take binoculars! There are paths you can follow either by walking (very hot) or by inexpensively renting a bike and, once you’re deep into the jungle along these paths, you’ll see gibbons and macaques and the most incredible bird life as well as lizards and the most amazing range of butterflies. At weekends, the park is visited by large numbers of young Vietnamese cycling in large groups who are very noisy and have little interest in seeing the exquisite wildlife, so avoid weekends. Our 3-night stay at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge was just...
Our 3-night stay at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge was just delightful! The Lodge is built in wood and stone with a spacious garden, ponds and the river that flows just by the bungalows. The rooms are tastefully appointed with comfortable canopy beds with mosquito nets. Our bungalow looked over the river, across from the jungle and its concert of sounds, with a special mention for the mesmerizing call of the gibbons. The restaurant is reminiscent of a romantic tree house and serves great food made from locally-sourced products. The staff are very friendly and the owner, Ms Phuong, was most helpful in recommending hikes in the jungle and boat rides. The lodge also offers sound therapy sessions in a dedicated meditation room. Cat Tien Jungle Lodge is clearly on the top end of accommodation available in the area with a dedication to ecotourism and an unbeatable location on the very edge of the National Park. Our stay was a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and we will definitely be back at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge for more jungle adventures!Guest review byStéphaneFrance
