Very friendly staff, nice hotel and great room! When we checked in we got a room next to the comference room where there was a loud party. After informing the front desk about the noice, they immediately changed our rooms, so that was really great! The room is spacious, had a great bathroom with seperate shower and bath and seperate toilet. The bed was really really comfortable, Western style, soft bed. It was like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was great, with Vietnamese warm dishes and continental dishes.

Honestly, this has been one of our nicest stays in Vietnam. The host has been so friendly and helpful. We relied on Google translate a lot, but it all worked. Our room was so clean, it sparkled. The beds were firm but comfortable. The shower room fresh and clean. Breakfasts were good, and varied over the days we stayed. The homestay was very convenient for Nam Cat Tien park entrance and there were many options for other food close by. We even loved the noisy gecko calls at night! Oir host helped me book a bus back to HCMC and kept our bags while we had a last birdwatching visit to the park before our bus. We arrived expecting rustic accommodation but this far exceeded all expectations.

    Cozy little houses close to the river where you can sit and listen to the sound of birds and gibbons in the morning, everyone is really helpful, especially Luan who does a great job at making your stay as pleasant as possible: he organizes tours, lunch to go, bicycles and everything else you might need.     Friendly and uncomplicated staff..... Nice hotel set back from the main noisy road ..... renovations are underway to make it even more comfy.... Always happy to walk back into a room here ;-) A Sushi restaurant 300 meters down the road and a LotteMart 450 meters up the main road.

    Really close to the National park entrance and ferry point .. you can hear the gibbons singing in the mornings which was pretty cool! We even found a lovely frog in our toilet one night and he spent the night sitting on the towel rail .. very cute! Loved our stay here

    Liked the location, the swimming pool and views from room...

    Liked the location, the swimming pool and views from room over the river. The cabin like rooms with stilts over the river and balconies. Restaurant on site was convenient and offered good dinner menu but noisy in the evening. Breakfast less good and room lacked some facilities, needed a bit of maintenance and updating. A lot of people staying and it was very noisy until later than I would expect for a lodge and rural retreat of this kind.

    Cat Tien National Park is a wonderful place for a genuine...

    Cat Tien National Park is a wonderful place for a genuine rainforest/jungle experience and, if you’re quiet and escape the weekend crowds, you can see some incredible wildlife. Take binoculars! There are paths you can follow either by walking (very hot) or by inexpensively renting a bike and, once you’re deep into the jungle along these paths, you’ll see gibbons and macaques and the most incredible bird life as well as lizards and the most amazing range of butterflies. At weekends, the park is visited by large numbers of young Vietnamese cycling in large groups who are very noisy and have little interest in seeing the exquisite wildlife, so avoid weekends. Everything becomes much quieter and calmer by Sunday lunchtime.

    Our 3-night stay at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge was just...

    Our 3-night stay at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge was just delightful! The Lodge is built in wood and stone with a spacious garden, ponds and the river that flows just by the bungalows. The rooms are tastefully appointed with comfortable canopy beds with mosquito nets. Our bungalow looked over the river, across from the jungle and its concert of sounds, with a special mention for the mesmerizing call of the gibbons. The restaurant is reminiscent of a romantic tree house and serves great food made from locally-sourced products. The staff are very friendly and the owner, Ms Phuong, was most helpful in recommending hikes in the jungle and boat rides. The lodge also offers sound therapy sessions in a dedicated meditation room. Cat Tien Jungle Lodge is clearly on the top end of accommodation available in the area with a dedication to ecotourism and an unbeatable location on the very edge of the National Park. Our stay was a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and we will definitely be back at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge for more jungle adventures!
