The food on resort was pretty good, surprisingly though, there were no Vietnamese food options. The Ibiza pool is great, and the beach there is super clean. The VinWonders amusement park nearby (2 minutes) is super fun, great value. The resort itself is extremely frustrating to stay at. Guests are not informed well enough about the resort, no maps given, nothing really explained, a buggy system that is inefficient. Buffet breakfast is good, if it's not busy, when it's busy, the kitchen can't keep up. All the restaurants on resort are Italian. Housekeeping doesn't use a checklist when cleaning, water doesn't get restocked, coffee not replaced, etc. They fumigated our villa before we arrived, it smelled so bad we couldn't stay in it, gave us all headaches. This matter was not given the right amount of attention to fix, I had to do a lot of follow up to make a switch happen.Guest review byAnderson - 10.0

It has a great vibe, busy without being overwhelming, a nice little promenade and park along the Mekong and a pretty good dining and street food scene. There were some Westerners, but it felt completely untouristy. Our Homestay owner is very knowledgeable about his hometown area. Our trip theme was to visit CACAO FARMS. We saw more! We saw cacao fruits, jack fruits, red coconuts, green coconuts, bananas, pomelos, tangerines, papayas and friendly neighborhood during our bicycle rides. Ca Mau City is a stopping-off place before heading to Ca Mau Cape and its adjacent mangrove forests. Be aware that Cau Mau Cape has especial cultural significance to Vietnamese or Vietnamese/Chinese peoples - westerners (foreigners) are a rarity at the Cape - there were only two there on the Sunday my wife and I visited the Cape (me plus one German solo traveller). If you are looking to find the Ca Mau City Bird Sanctuary, stop now - it no longer exists!! Ninty percent of the old bird sanctuary has been built over by the new President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Park and the remain 10% is no longer accessible to pedestrians (locked closed) due to the high concentration of venomous snakes.Guest review byGraemeUnited Kingdom - 10.0

What an interesting and wonderful area! It's beautiful and there's so much to see - from the city itself with its very lively market, to the pottery area with its iconic kilns, to the adjacent island of An Binh, which is rural and very beautiful. Ha Tien is an interesting area, sprawled out along the ocean, consisting of waterfront, restaurants, beaches, and swimming areas. places to drive and walk and explore. I have fun on my motorbike, ranging all over the area and felt quite safe. There are newer, developing areas and older established areas. The downtown areas seem to have pretty basic hotels not many foreigners here as it’s a favourite for Vietnamese people to visit during the holiday holidays.Guest review byNigelCanada - 8.0

Bac Lieu has many interesting sites to visit. The Cao van Lau theater is very interesting, but the light on the structure (the three hats) is off at night, not on as before. Instead, messy street vendors in front of the place makes it so unaesthetic. Moreover, a fighter jet placed inside the area of the theater is so aesthetic ugly. We were very happy with where we stayed on the Island as it was still very natural and the maintenance and protection of the natural environment was exceptional. However we were deeply shocked (appalled actually) when we saw other very built up parts of the Island with hotels and empty buildings by the block full. It was mass tourism and deeply disturbing and unattractive not to mention an awful destruction of the environment and local communities.
