Great accomodation! The room was exactly as described, very clean with lots of amenities! The breakfast was excellent too! We gave our clothes for laundry and we took them back smelling super nice! I absolutely loved my stay at Victory Hostel! The beds are super spacious, with curtains and wooden partitions, giving way more privacy than most hostels. But the real surprise? The washroom—it’s honestly better than a five-star hotel! There’s a bathtub, and there’s always hot water running. I mean, who even gets a bathtub in a hostel? The outdoor pool area is a perfect spot to chill, swim, or just relax with a drink or some food. The location is also amazing—on one side, you’ve got good restaurants within walking distance, and on the other, there are local fruit and flower shops, pharmacies, and more, making everything super convenient. Another unexpected win? Their coffee is actually great! I wasn’t expecting much (since hostel coffee is usually average), but this one really surprised me. They also have a food menu, which is a nice bonus. But what really made this place special was the people. I arrived at Victory Hostel already feeling unwell from food poisoning I got in the last city, and the owners and staff were incredibly kind. Even though their café had already closed, they still made me lemon and ginger tea at 11 PM to help me feel better. The next day, they checked on me and even invited me to have lunch with them, making sure I had a proper meal. The owners were so thoughtful—they even offered me extra meat and snacks, making sure I was well-fed and taken care of. That level of kindness is truly rare. On my checkout day, I couldn’t get a cab to the train station. The owners saw me struggling and offered to drive me there for free, just to make sure I got there on time. That’s the kind of hospitality that makes you feel at home. After staying in so many hostels across Vietnam, this one was hands down the most welcoming and homely experience I’ve had. I absolutely love this place and would recommend it to anyone!
