Everything was splendid. The staff was very friendly and always helping us booking trips, private cars or taxis on a very reasonable price. The restaurant was a good option for dinner, with a lot of options and varieties and what we liked most it was that it was not overpriced in comparison with other restaurants. The location is perfect to visit every must see attraction in the area and the grounds were splendid. Even the massage options were at a really good price. I cannot find any faults for this cute boutique hotel.

Very high level of service. Attentive staff, offering refreshments at several occasions without charge, offering a small bag of water and snacks for our trip onwards. Everyone had good english skills. Our family room was spacious and had a very nice view with very large windows to two sides. Breakfast was good aswell, many options.

Our stay was unforgettable! We were four Spanish travelers and enjoyed every moment. The pool with its stunning views was the perfect place to relax after exploring. Nguyen went above and beyond, helping us with great suggestions and arranging everything we needed, even once we had left. Wow… what a wonderful stay at Tam Coc Lighthouse. We had just come from Ha Giang and spent around 10+ hours in a bus, and therefore arriving at the hotel at the peak of night. We informed the staff beforehand that we were going to arrive at 4.00am, since the check in time was at 2pm. The staff was so helpful, even though they didn’t have any rooms before the guest checked out, they let us rest in the reception, and hurried a room ready for us, at 8am! We got a nice free breakfast at the hotel and looked around the amazing city of Ninh Binh. On our last day, the amazing staff of young people asked us to make a TikTok, before we left, which was super fun. Everyone were extremely nice! The rooms we got were also completely clean and newly renovated, with a nice soft bed after our 10+ hours on a sleeper bus… Overall an amazing experience and would 100% always recommend if you are ever visiting Ninh Binh!

Really good place to go if you want to see natural beaty, cool caves, really beautiful trekks, love boating and ancient temples. i could easily have stayed for more that 3 days but my time there was short.

The bed was a king size, comfiest bed I have slept in all Vietnam, also the air con worked, having your own bathroom and shower, and the staff were super lovely. Loved the stay here felt super luxurious.

As far as I can make out, this town is a suburb/area of Ninh Binh, less than a mile from the train station. It is probably the friendliest place I've ever been - I think I was "helloed" by just about everyone under 10 I saw. But the highlights are really in the surrounding countryside, so I would recommend planning for a few days out to see the nature reserves and participate in the activities. You don't need to travel far, and can get Grab taxis or bikes if you don't have your own transport.

We spent two days in Ninh Binh and could have easily spent a...

We spent two days in Ninh Binh and could have easily spent a day or two longer. It's a very laid back area and there is lots to see. We stayed between Trang An and Tam Coc and used bicycles to get around. The quieter location suited us but for younger travellers Tam Coc is more vibrant. The walk to the top of Hang Mua viewpoint is best done in the early morning (we went before breakfast) so it isn't too crowded and not too hot. There were mountain goats roaming around when we walked up (around 7.00am) but they'd gone by the time we descended and more people were arriving. We didn't take the boat ride in Tam Coc but we took a boat ride in Trang An. The scenery seems more mountainous around Trang An than Tam Coc. On the day we went the water was high so we couldn't go into the caves and there was only one route open, which seemed to be a mix of the other routes. The boat trip lasted around 2.5 hours and was excellent. We also visited the old town at night, which was nice. It's all lit up and there are some good places to eat on the waterfront. Bich Dong temple is also worth visiting. There is a staircase leading up to a smaller shrine and to the left of that there is a passage through a bat cave and up to another small shrine outdoors.

I had a wonderful experience at Lighthouse Hotel in Ninh...

I had a wonderful experience at Lighthouse Hotel in Ninh Binh. The hotel is located in a convenient location, near markets and attractions, making transportation easy. Rooms are clean, comfortable and fully equipped with amenities. In particular, the receptionist is very friendly and enthusiastic, always ready to assist customers. The hotel also provides a private cooking area and dining table for guests, creating a feeling of home. The yard is spacious and airy, providing a relaxing space after days of exploration. I will definitely return to Lighthouse Hotel on my next trips to Ninh Binh.

The view is stunning.

The view is stunning. I was shocked of how beautiful and cleaned this city is. You can enjoy cycling around the city under the quiet, historic and cultural atmosphere. At the famous landmarks, there was no scam or shoving, hustling, jostling. The goat meat in Ninh Binh is so delicious
