South AfricaThe room was clean and in an exceptional condition. The bathroom was perfect as well. We were still on the road and couldn't check it at the allocated check in time. We were given a courtesy to find out what time we would be arriving and there was someone waiting to check us in, albeit quite late in the evening. Thanks a MILL for this, much appreciated !!!

South AfricaEverything at Quaggasfontein is immaculate! I can not recommend this accommodation high enough, we were welcomed for a late check in and the rooms are absolutely perfect. We were just driving through on our way back up to jhb, I'd recommend staying a day or 2 if you can.

Czech RepublicAn excellent accommodation complex basically in the center of Beaufort West, about 7 km from Karoo National Park. There is a nice swimming pool, which we couldn't use due to our late arrival. The apartment was basically a large, spacious flat with a dining room downstairs and a large bedroom with several spacious beds and a large bathroom upstairs. All complemented by vintage furniture!

Travalia is a little oasis in the Greater Karoo, just when your trip is too long this little jewel appears on your horizon.
Apartment was clean and had all the facilities you need. If you don't want to braai under your nice veranda, you can make a booking at the restaurant. Or, if you want to braai under the Karoo milky way, you can order in advance a good braai pack, salad and "braaibroodjies".
For breakfast you can make use of the Travalia Padstal where you can enjoy a traditional breakfast or a variety of pies. The shop stocks also Karoo lamb packs as well as many treats and gifts.

Merweville is a beautiful town! Friendly community.
Merweville is a beautiful town! Friendly community. The town is very clean and neat.
The best coffee and breakfast at Die Boekklub with a shop to buy presents for family at home.
There is a nougat factory as well - Karoo Blessings, unfortunately they were closed when we passed through, but we could find their yummy treats at "Die Boekklub" in town.
The Graveyard is well looked after, we visited a family grave and we were very impressed!
Everywhere you drive, people will greet you with a friendly smile! It gives you a warm feeling of caring!

The location is very good The room very Comfortable and neat If you want to stay there without breakfast might be a better idea We paid for breakfast but did not eat.Menu very poor indeed..The owner should make sure all is set in the bedroom before guest arrives .Hand towels are a.must.Toilet rolls are a must.Sugar for tea is a must.and if you pay for breakfast it should be provided.not just scrambled eggs and boerovorce

I loved the friendly receptionist. also she was very helpful to sort out my mistake on Bookings.com. I did a dubble booking by mistake. I got my full refund back. My husband had a lovely dip in the pool as it was very hot.

Very friendly clean town.
Very friendly clean town. Locals amazing, beautiful church and houses.
Only one coffee shop (closes at 16:00) but Ronel provides homemade cooked dinners. We had Springbok pie . Local farmer pointed us to best spots for sunset and sunrise photography.

In today's living in South Africa, this is undoubtedly the cleanest town I have ever seen. Town and residential areas. Everyone we met, truly welcomed you to their place of business. The Owner of the B & B was particularly helpful with whatever we asked. No matter who we spoke to, every soul was so helpful with a smile and happy travels, thanks for visiting our town; - one could definitely not ask for more. Plenty of our choice of eating places, With GPS assistance it is really easy to find your way around. Those who can afford, Game Farms close by.

We did not venture through Nelspoort and only stayed at The Vale for 1 night. The staff was all very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious.
The unit was small, clean, and comfortable. The shower entrance was very small and the water did not drain. No airconditioner in the unit but a fan was provided.
We experienced load-shedding there at the time but they did have lights until 22:00 and they gave you time to shower until then.
This is a perfect venue for weddings. Beautiful setting.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the charming Cindy's Huisie! The antique furniture and decoration of the house was a nice surprise. There was even a splash pool. Security and parking was excellent and we had a great braai, also using the unique outdoor furniture. Highly recommended.
