Elephant house is a truly wonderful property. The rooms are tastefully decorated with quality fittings with a magnificent bed surrounded with a mosquito net. Everwhere was clean and the the furniture in the public rooms comfortable, sinking into the sofa's. Highlight of the stay was the safari to the Addo elephant reserve, which was booked at the property using the knowegeable in- house staff. Our driver, Emanuel, was excellent and Clive runs a great operation. Relaxing and comfortable stay.

We stayed in the tent unit and it was perfect. The air conditioning was much appreciated and solar power was useful during load shedding. The view was amazing and Sophia & her team couldn't have been more helpful.

From welcoming us on arrival, giving us friendly chat at breakfast to inviting us to join their family for a drink in their stunning bar/pool area. We would certainly be recommending this to anyone wishing to visit the stunning Addo Elephant national park.

This place is wonderful: in the middle of beautiful nature, the luxury tents are very comfortable and clean, breakfast and dinner was lovely, … The hospitality of the hosts was exceptional, we’ve had the warmest welcome here. Klein Plekkie is located in a citrus yard/plantation, a bit away from civilazation :-) It is really a special setting at a nice dam, which can be used for swimming or kayaking. The kitchen is located in a 20-feet container, which is now a part of / included in the living area. The bedrooms ( in total 3 - one with bathroom en-suite and two with sharing bath room) are separate. You find all needed for a self catering location. We were very surprised about this wonderful location and can only highly recommend to stay there when being at Addo. Especially for families and outdoor fans this is the place to be!!

What a fantastic gem, a garden of eden hidden away in a vast citrus plantation, decorated with exceptional flair and taste. Our rooms were beautiful, large, spacious, clean, all details thought of and with a well -stocked drinks fridge. The staff were amazing : sweet, kind, caring, competent. They looked after us as if we were family, very welcome beloved family even. It was lovely to have dinner there, well- cooked by young and competent chef, unpretentious but tasty meals with good wines. I would love to not tell anyone about this beautiful place and keep it all to myself, but pleasure is made to be shared, and this place is a true pleasure. Monique, the manager, and Stoopi and the housekeepers spoilt us from the moment we got there until we left, and even after. An unforgettable stay in an unforgettably beautiful place. Thank you for everything Stellenhof! PS To future visitors, please make sure you tip the staff generously and properly because they really deserve it. I was horrified to see a German couple at the table next to us leave 4 Rand on the table. The tip in South Africa is between 10 to 15%. I was ashamed for my countryman.
