The spacious and ultra luxurious rooms (which were well equipped and quiet) and the serene yet central location made us wish we booked a longer stay. Stunning location to explore the many activities and experiences that the town of Hoedspruit and surrounding area has to offer. Little shops, restaurants and of course the Greater Kruger are right on your doorstep. We were warmly greeted and the helpful and friendly staff assisted us in planning and arranging everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

It’s conveniently located: all the main tourist attractions are a short drive away, but on the days you want to rest, the wildlife comes to your doorstep. The property itself is very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The owners are charming and the staff super nice and friendly. The location & style of the accommodation were perfect and so romantic. Nyarai and the staff were nice and gentle! Our stay was so great we wouldn’t leave and will come back for sure as soon as we can. The cuisine on offer at Moya is so delicate and sophisticated, with a chef and his assistant who take the time to explain everything and lead the way with brio! We enjoyed every moment of it. Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, where the Moya is, is really safe and you can see many animals 🤩 Thank you Nyarai and the team! You rock 🤩

One of the highlights of the stay is the opportunity to enjoy a safari right on the lodge's farm. With zebras and giraffes roaming freely, it’s an unforgettable experience that brings you closer to Limpopo's stunning wildlife. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, ensuring a restful stay. A big thank you to our housekeeper, Grace, for her excellent work. Another housekeeper even took a torn dress home to repair it — a thoughtful gesture that shows the dedication of the staff. This time, we were determined to leave a note to express our satisfaction. Tzaneen Country Lodge offers outstanding value for money, combining natural beauty, quality facilities, and exceptional service. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this lodge to anyone seeking relaxation and adventure in Limpopo!

The stay was better than we have expected. The hotel is amazing so are the rooms. The team is awesome. Linda and Jennifer took really good care of us and Caitlynn, our guide was amazing. She listened to us and helped us find the animals we were hoping to see. Marataba made our honeymoon awesome. It's truly one of the best hotels we've ever been to. The little attentions and surprises made our stay unforgettable.

I like the place because it is very quiet, one had a rest...

I like the place because it is very quiet, one had a rest without any noise. The place is very near to Savannah Mall and we ate at Nando's. What i did not like is the restriction of lights at night, some of us we are students and study at night and the was no provision of a small table and a chair, such should be corrected.

I liked the service from the reception, they were friendly. The view of our room exceeded our expectations. It was big enough to cater 4 people😊. Hope you can put bath mat in bathrooms to avoid wet floor and slipping.

Great central point for exploring the Kruger Park, private game reserves, Blyde River Canyon and many other spots in the region. Many lodges to choose from, tours, charters, restaurants, shopping centers in the town. Agricultural hotspot, with many mango and citrus farms, plus macadamia and avocado farms nearby.

The place is very spacious and calm. The full fridge/freezer was very welcome becaus we were on our way to Kruger Park and had our meat with us. Loved the privacy. Friendly host and help to locate a shop.

Phalaborwa as a town was a deep disappointment.

Phalaborwa as a town was a deep disappointment. The roads are in a very bad state and the general condition of the streets, pavements and rubbish lying around is a disgrace for the municipality. There are no streetlights working and the overall deterioration of the town is the last thing one wants to show overseas visitors. The tar road leading to the Kruger gate is obviously in a good condition but that is all. The Pick and Pay and the Spur are closed due to a fire incident and there are not a lot of restaurants to go to dinner for.

The owner should consider removing all those concrete bed...

The owner should consider removing all those concrete bed base,they are so uncomfortable and if you lose concentration moving around those small rooms you can easily get injured.The shower and toilets are so small ,it is difficult to move around. I was booked for two nights but slept for only night and had to find alternative accomodation.They also have an entertainment area so on sunday the 27th April 2025,they play loud music as early as 10h00.

The city is absolutely beautiful, Mall of the North is a must visit, Seshego has awesome eating places, Savannah Mall for a relaxed environment, visiting the city in December, expect hot, humid weather, thunderstorms are a common feature. the drive along N1 is absolutely delightful, the fields are green.
