Unfortunately, the breakfast was not as advertised, and 80% of the time, there was no one at the reception. While I was showering, the tabs electrocuted me. No dinner cause they ran out of supplies and had to eat breakfast for dinner and made me pay the full price while providing half of the advertised on the menu

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Club Cocomo! The island-like setup of the property creates such a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The property also boasts a lovely bar and a heated pool, which made it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The menu is affordable, with a variety of delicious options that didn’t break the bank. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The unique ambiance and all the amenities truly made it a memorable experience. I highly recommend Club Cocomo for anyone looking for a peaceful, affordable, and enjoyable getaway. Madikwe Hills was perfect. The quality of the food was very high - and they provided many options. Breakfast and lunch were delicious and dinner was next level. The quality of the house wine was good, and there were many, many options. The service was welcoming and exceptional, from start to finish. The Game drives were also good, and ranged from peaceful and educational, to downright thrilling. Trucks were comfortable, and ponchos and blankets provided as needed.

We stayed at The Kingdom resort. its a very well run operation with great facilities for kids and adults and is very close to the Pilanesberg Game reserve. It is much more cost effective than staying in the park which is exhorbitantly expensive

The hotel was ideally situated. However, both access roads have been neglected by the current municipality. What a sad state of affairs with the blatant mismanagement we see in the Klerksdorp and surrounding suburbs.

Good city in general with plenty of open space for its growth but the crossing between Dadford and Proctor can be frustrating with the traffic that leave you stranded. Also the Dadford road full of holes, need to be maintained until it is either tarred or paved (I might confuse between Dadford and Proctor which one is tarred). I found the city people to be friendly and helpful. That alone can make you visit the city regularly. And the weather was fantastic, warm . Unfortunately there was no opportunity to visit the game reserve. Next time Issue of plastic bags laying in some open space must be sorted out. They give a dirty image on a city with good potential for growth. Lately, issue of reaching the city either by plane or coaches should be resolved. It is a pity that no plane could be found to shorten the distance with Gauteng. Even coaches where not available between Gauteng and Mahikeng. Resolving the issue of public transport between the Gauteng hub and Mahikeng could increase the number of tourists flocking to this warm city

Pilansberg is a 3 hour from Johannesburg.

Pilansberg is a 3 hour from Johannesburg. It is easily accessible however the roads to the Pilansberg are not in great shape. It would be best to take a shuttle than to drive yourself. The park is fantastic with all the animals. We saw many lion, a leopard, many elephants, many rhino and lots more. I highly recommend.

I attended the Glen Jones concert.

I attended the Glen Jones concert. It was convenient to go to Sun City. It was 12 km away. The chalet was clean. If I had time we could had a braai. Also easy access as day visitor to Sun City. They offer game drives and games.

The room was fine.

The room was fine. Our biggest issue was that we were so looking forward to a good country breakfast and it was a complete disaster. The fried eggs looked as if a steam roller had squashed them and were burnt, the pork sausage was raw and the potatoes were hard and not cooked. Then asked for a soft boiled egg.....2 eggs were delivered in a silver gravy boat as no egg cups available. Egg was hard boiled. For a 5 star rating this was a very poor show and totally unacceptable.
