I know the hostel can’t do anything about it, but I shared a room with a stoner who was constantly grinding his weed in bed and getting out with a bong (which he had next to the window) to smoke. As a result, not only did the entire room smell like pod, but he also had to massively cough for 10 min. He got out of the room three times during the night to go smoke weed and the strong smell and the noise kept waking me up, not even to mention that he would have a dry neck and would cough non stop once he was back…

Well located if you’re aware that it’s not in Whistler itself. Friendly staff and good vibes. Bears in the surroundings, awesome!

The room was noisy, with no option for any privacy. Also the bed sheets weren't completely clean. One bathroom shared by two rooms of four people is a bit low. I also saw a silverfish in the lobby.

The price is good and there is public transport from the hostel to Whistler-Blackcomb.

The bed was really uncomfortable we didn’t get any sleep which is a shame. Quite overpriced for a hostel.

The location is great. We had a really big room which was handy. Plenty of parking available too. The staff are really kind. The communal areas are good, plenty of utensils and space for everyone to store their own food etc.

The price and location. It's pretty far from Whistler and the price per night was the cheapest around at the time but overpriced for what it's worth. I had to stay the night because I was outside the cancellation when I found a cheaper place to stay for a single traveller.

Everything was clean. The communal area was really nice and spacious. I did a bit of work in the evening.

The French lady that works at the front desk. She was rude and very disrespectful to a couple of people staying at the hostel. The fact she had the audacity to treat this people is amazing to me. I truely believe the hostel would be a better environment without her.

The people and lifetime friends I made at the hostel.

There aren’t much options for food or beverage in the village it’s in. Just the cafe.

This was one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. Very comfy and clean. The layout of this place was lovely, having split rooms but common bathroom. Even though there were 8 people total sharing the facilities, with this many people it wasn’t an issue when I needed to use them.

The facility and staff are good. However, whether you enjoy the stay depends on who live in your room and next room. The roommates in my room were good, quite and respect to other users. However, the guys lived in next room were ridiculous. They made loud noise at 2:30am outside the room and made the washing area very dirty.

Squeaky beds, kitchen was constantly packed, people opening windows during the day and evening in winter; not as clean as HI Vancouver.

    Friendly staff.

There is a direct bus to the city center which is very convenient though it looks far from the main attractions.

I wish there was a bit more storage space and my key didn't work a couple times, so my roommates had to let me in.

I really liked the bed. It was very comfortable and I slept well the two nights I stayed. It was also very well maintained and cleaner then expected.

There is a light for each bed but it took a while to figure it out, it was so weird. I extended my stay but they didn't tell housecleaning and my bed was tidied (my stuff was put in lost and found) which was a bad surprise but I got my stuff back.

Nice facilities, dorm was pretty good size, kitchen was pretty big. I didn't mind being outside of Whistler village, there's 2 public buses that stop right next to the hostel (and there's free parking in Whistler village after 5pm). There's a nice walk (Train Wreck Trail) that you can take right outside from the hostel.

In general terms quite expensive for a hostel dorm, but for Whistler standards quite okay...! ;)

Very well-run hostel, Clean rooms, shared bathroom only for 8 people, organized and clean kitchen, nice common room...

No hair dryer, pillows were too thick. Bring your own toiletries. No shampoo or conditioner so best to bring your own toiletries.

Close to whistler village, washroom has hand soap and body wash. Staffs were friendly and iced coffee was great at the small cafe within the hostel.
