Isolated location meant quite a trek to find supplies or alternative eating facilities.

Perfect location as I was attending an event at the Arena. Amazingly by pitch view from the room!

The room was really 'tired' looking. The walls were filthy with marks all over. The furniture was well worn and there was stains/dirt around the shower tray and sink plug hole.

The bed was really comfortable and bedding was cosy and clean. We liked the toiletries in the bathroom. Pitch view was great. We had a peaceful stay.

Arena staff running the shared areas (mainly Anecdote bar) were unhelpful & happier to spend time chatting together than serve, clear tables & clean up

The TV RCU had to be replaced. Why not check these more regularly? The hair dryer did not work in room 156. My wife went to breakfast with a wet head. Everyone knew months ago that the QPR game was on May 4th, so why offer to upgrade my room to a pitch view room, and then tell me that this offer is being denied because there a football game scheduled?

Hotel staff were very friendly. We came to watch the QPR football match, so the location was ideal. And the football result 1-2 was perfect. Generous car parking facilities. The rooms (155 and 156) were great. Lovely breakfast with helpful staff.

I was disappointed that my room looked nothing like the pictures on the website. I soon realised the rooms on the website are refurbished and mine wasn’t, I asked to view the refurbished room (I’m an event manager and travel agent), they said they wouldn’t be at hotel when I could do a show round. Room service was okay, but if you get dessert the icecream is melted before it gets to you. Also there was a Coventry game on when I stayed which I wasn’t aware of and I was placed in a room opposite the pitch view rooms that had people in, doors were kept open so it was quite noisy.

Rooms are a great size. Breakfast was good and the restaurant is nice.

Cost of parking higher than the average for the city. Room was not thoroughly clean. One had items left from previous occupants and no lining. Carpet had remnants of human cut fingernails. There was a duvet but no bedsheet, no extra covers in case one felt cold, as heater turned off by thermostat.

The television didn’t work in the room. Was moved rooms to find the kettle didn’t work in that one. Room was VERY basic! Literally just had what you needed. Car parking is expensive would be nice for it to be included in the price as we had two cars. We were moved swiftly though and we were happy overall with the friendliness.

The gentleman who checked me in was lovely. Really welcoming and friendly.

Although the room was very good I struggled to get to sleep because of the noise which I presume was people just moving around. I think they may have been wooden floors which were creaking .I found it very difficult to get to sleep .Also in the morning I wanted to watch TV but the reception was bad and was unwatchable which was disappointing
