Everything was perfect

The best place to spend vacation in Portimão. We stayed second time at Shantivillas and it’s amazing experience. The apartment is clean, stylish and comfortable. The swimming pool is heated and clean. And of course the views are breathtaking.

Nothing! Honestly I don't think you could improve on a single thing. It was the perfect beach holiday for our family. We have teenagers so possibly the only thing the little ones won't like is the temperature of the sea - it's cold!

Amazing location! Gorgeous apartment with stunning views of the sea. I especially loved listening to the waves at night and waking up to it too. Very comfortable and we'd love to come back! In fact we've already booked. Best beach holiday in Europe! So easy to fly London to Faro then we jumped in an Uber which took 45mins. Meanwhile back in London in was miserable and raining. We had glorious weather the entire week.

unfortunately the pool doesn’t match as it in the shade and no atmosphere as no one use it , we do like the beach but some days we would have like to use the pool .

Despite emailing prior to booking and including as a request we still ended up on the first floor above the pool which was a bit disappointing. That said It still had a great view of the sea and glad we weren't on the ground floor as you would definitely feel like you were sat with everyone by the pool. It would have been great to have a few essential groceries in the apartment as we only arrived at 10pm but that's a minor improvement. For anyone else staying I would recommend the west side of the building (rooms 4,7,10,13) as this gets the evening sun. May not be as important for others but as we had a young child we stayed in every night and were jealous of those who could see the sunset

The location is great for us and only a few meters away from the beach and a short 5-10 minute walk to shops and restaurants. The apartments are exceptionally clean and very airy. The team are around if you need them and you just need to ask if you need anything - nothing is too much trouble! It's nice and peaceful without being out of the way. We love it and really enjoy our time there. Looking forward to going back in September/October this year. We had spectacular views from our apartment; it was higher up than the last time when we visited in October 2023, which was really nice, however both apartments that we stayed in were stunning.

Unfortunately, our apartment was on the ground floor, just above the pool, so no full sea view and zero privacy because everyone from the pool had a direct view of our balcony. Also, the noise of children in the pool was loudly audible in the apartment, it was annoying. Please check the attached photo from our balcony.

Apartament itself was amazing, one of the best I have ever been, I would give 11* if it's possible.

Excellent location with wonderful sea views. Some nice restaurants around the area. Heated pool. Very clean and tidy apartment with lots of space. We were allowed to check out in the afternoon, which was made things even better.

The cleaning is once mid-stay (which is fine), but we needed to empty the bin in between and had to message to ask what to do with it. Would be good to add this information somewhere. Another thing is that there was no way to separate the waste (paper, glass ..) The check-in is a bit late (4pm), but they did accommodate us when we requested to check in a bit earlier.

We had a 2 bed apartment on the 2nd floor and it was exactly like in the pictures. Spotlessly clean, cosy, amazing sea views. We had everything we needed to cater for our family as we travelled with 2 small children and having things like washing machine and dishwasher made our life easy. We requested a cot and it was ready in the room when we arrived along with a high chair. We also found the place quite safe for our 9 month old to roam around. Loved the location - right by the beach, restaurants and shops nearby and a bit out of the way so there's no noise. The beach is just stunning! A few steps from the building there is a bus stop where you can take the bus to town centre, but if you drive, there is an indoor parking on the ground floor.

- there were two scales, one in each bathroom, but the batteries were dead so it was impossible to use them... but this is only a very small inconvenience

Nothing, faultless!

Located at the quieter end of the city, property is set adjacent to the beach with wonderful views. The apartment was stunning, everything on hand, kitchen fully equipped, washing machine, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV. Huge balcony to enjoy the fabulous views. Quality of finish is to the highest degree. Cleaning service once a week. Parking space in basement, access via remote control. Daniel is on site weekdays if anything is required, all staff very friendly.

Great location with stunning views. The apartment is close to restaurants and shops and a short walk to the Marina about 20mins. The apartment was spotless with all the amenities you need for self catering. It’s as nice if not nicer than the photos will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Ok, not a big issue, purely personal choice....the pillows are too soft for us. There are lots of them in each room, just not what we would usually use as we prefer a firmer choice. Only other thing.... 2 access keys to apartment would have been more convenient; you get used to it and we simply adapted to going out and in at the same time.

Location is great, as is the privacy and the modern facilities offered in the apartments. Glad of the peace and quiet at night as we were staying here for a relaxing break. No stags/hens/pets allowed, which is a huge plus for us. We're just back on 16/10/23 - yesterday - and have already booked again twice for next year. We felt so at home and relaxed. The type of property and location suited us. The team that we did meet, whilst not looking for them, are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Nothing, all is just PERFECT!!!

This place is just brilliant, perfect, unique!!! I have never been in better apartment. I love it so much that surely I will come back pretty soon. If I need to rate this place and staff and location and everything I will say 15 out of 10!!!💥💖
