How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

room service after 1pm
the location is brilliant for all activities, breakfast has lots of variety and staff very friendly and helpful, room service good, but only after 1pm daily.

The bathroom has a bit of mold which is fairly easy to remove with any chlorine solution, but other than that the room was good.
Good location next to Khao San road restaurants, and not too close so there's no music at night. Also they have a parking, it's small but we were lucky and had a place to park. Overall the experience was positive and the rooms are fine. We used the room with 3 separate beds. Glad it was possible to find at the last minute and checking easily, I booked it 30 minutes before I checked in =) .

The room was basic, there was a dangerous tiny step between bathroom and the room and almost broke my toe. Overall it was a convenient hotel for a 2 nights stay, I would go there again
Swimming closing late at 9pm, that was truly amazing. We loved the location, it was very convenient to take a boat from the pier, 3min walk

No English Tea with the breakfast. More power points in the room, obviously designed before the days of gadgets. Shower head was very temperamental.
Booked a balcony room and were upgraded to a suite which was nice. Breakfast was ok with good variety but only Jasmine tea on offer and being a Brit I do like a nice "cuppa". Good location for getting the ferry and if you want to go to Khao San road. Nice little pool. Very friendly staff who spent lots of time and gave lots of attention to our 6 year old daughter

View from hotel window just looking over to other windows . Even though description said room with a pool view we didn't get that view.
Loved the swimming pool area and the view of the river and great at night to see all the boats sailing past. Breakfast was good also

The towels in the bathroom were a bit threadbare and not white anymore
Good location within walking distance from Khaosan Road, The Grand Palace and Wat Pho. The room and bathroom was spacious and clean. Very good buffet breakfast. Exceptionally friendly staff. Pool very convenient and clean

The rooms smelt old, the bathroom needed maintenance, the rooms were clean but you have to let them know daily to clean which I found inconvenience. Def book a room with a balcony

Great low key property on the river and about a 10 minute walk from the Khaosan Road. Nice walk getting there. The ferry terminal is about 2 minutes walk away and a bus stop pretty much outside. Lovely pool area, rooms are nicely appointed and generally a nice place to be

Some tooth brush and tooth paste if given would have been good.
Staff was very polite and helpful. They upgraded to a river view without additional charge so thanks a lot to the hotel staff. The river view was amazing. The location was very close to the hop on hop off ferry service. They also had a free locker service where I could put the luggage. The AC had to be controlled with a device next to the bed. Will definitely recommend this hotel

The hotel does show its age but that also adds to the charm
Breakfast here always very good, just wish he would have put chilli in the omelette but he would not permit spicy items on grill plate, which I found odd. Younger staff this time around with more trainees, I think this is something hospitality is facing everywhere. Their restaurant serving and food is always great

The upstairs outside dining area could do with more regular cleaning. Limited public transport options in this area, make use of grab & taxi.
Older hotel, but good value for money. The reception staff go out of their way to assist. Location excellent for exploring riverside attractions. Close to Khaosan Rd as well. Breakfast was great too. Lovely pool area.

Getting a bit worn - nowhere to hang towels - which should also be replaced -clean but thinning
It has everything one needs here. Rooms are clean - bed comfy- breakfast plenty and fresh. Staff is outstanding.
