How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

It's a bit noisy. We could hear people walking in the hallway, opening/closing the room door.
Well-equipped room at a reasonable price. Only a short drive to Antelope Canyon. Have grocery store and many restaurants in the neighborhood. The staff was very helpful explaining which time zone we're in. The breakfast was served in both hot and cold items. Simple but good enough to start the day. Would recommend to people visiting the area.

Bathroom was all out of shampoo. Container on the wall was empty. Had to go to front desk to get new one.
Very clean, close to a great restaurant.

The room was quiet noisy, you could hear people talking and walking on the upper floor, fortunately it did not affect our sleep.
The room was big and comfortable. Great location to visit Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend, also close to some restaurants (walkable distance).

The pool was closed which was not mentioned in the conversation with the management prior to the stay. At 30+ degrees C a bit disappointing. The break fast was ok but the facilities were way to small and felt overrun by guests in the morning. Some guests had their break fast in the lobby.
The hotel was clean and so was the room. All in all ok.

We were on the first floor and the guests on the second floor above us were loudly and frequently walking and talking in their room. Breakfast was lacking in healthy options…no whole grain breads or cereals, no oatmeal, no nondairy milk, only apples for fruit. The price was rather expensive.
Comfy bed, roomy, good location for visiting Antelope Canyon.

Thin walls and ceilings, you hear the above neighbours walking around. Not a blocker though! Too bad you couldn’t open the windows to let some fresh air in.
Great location in cosy Page with free parking! Large rooms with everything you need! A good hotel for a fair price!

Walls are not isolated enough. You can hear neighbours and flushing water. In the room, the were earplugs in the equipment - unfortunatelly, it was not sufficient.

The lobby looks great but the rooms and hallway have not been renovated. You can hear noises from adjacent rooms.
The location is good, you can walk to a few restaurants from there and the breakfast was good.

No housekeeping service one day. I don't know if they just missed my room or if they do not have housekeeping service every day.
A little nicer for a little more $$$. An OK value, but not great. A very good breakfast. Comfortable. Free parking. Easy access.

Location was great for accessing restaurants, groceries and shops. The tower of the Clarion was easy to spot and kept us oriented as we explored the town and walked the Page Rim Trail.

The duvets are very synthetic and generate a lot of static energy when moving in bed. Resulting in pain in your joints. This hotel is almost perfect to us however ;Some things can not be changed by giving feedback, in this case the sound insulation of the hotel. the worst I ever experienced anywhere. You can literally hear what everyone next above and under you is doing. Staff relocated us the second night to an other room but still SO much noise keeping you out of your sleep...
