I went sick during the Camino and booked this place to rest for some days while taking medicine. I couldn’t asked for a better place to feel relaxed and allow my body to recover. Everything is perfect.

It's like you travelled back in time. Beautiful location, stylish decoration, very friendly personel and nice room (suite). It was a remarkeble experience to stay at this hotel, loved it!

From the minute we arrived at the hotel the lovely woman at reception made us feel very welcome and she was very helpful. We booked the room with spa access and the spa was amazing . This Hotel is a real gem and I recommend it to everyone staying in Astorga .

"0ld Charm" property but absolutely up to date. Located in the historical city centre, Plaza Espana, with a magic view from the hotel balcony on the Plaza and the adjacent historical Aiuntamiento building. Hotel located a short walk from the two most important landmarks in Astorga (Cathedral & Gaudi-designed Episcopal Palace) &, if you fancy, another 5 min walk to Astorga's chocolate museum. Superb & very attentive hotel staff, all speaking English ( the latter so much missing in the Spanish hospitality industry) if your Spanish is non- existent or rusty. Also at the Plaza there are always some bars open during that notorious 2 - 5 pm Spanish siesta shut- down.

Set just 29 km from Ponferrada Castle, El Trasgu de Foncebadón offers accommodation in Foncebadón with access to massage services, a bar, as well as full-day security.

Wonderfully evocative Hotel in a fantastic location directly opposite Gaudi's Bishops' Palace and the Cathedral of Astorga.

Hosts Fernando and Rosa were so welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean. Bed linen were clean. Beds were comfortable. Only a stones throw from Astorga (approx. 2.3 kms). Fernando kindly offered and drove us back to Astorga to continue our Camino the next morning. Highly recommend this place.

Great property with a wonderful host. I've stayed here previously two years ago and made a point to return. Secure parking for our motorcycles (ensure you contact the host about this at booking as space is limited)
