What a wonderful hotel. It's family run, and the proprietor Hildur is amazing! It has homely and cozy properties, much like a boutique guesthouse despite it's size. Great breakfast, bar at the lobby with some extremely friendly staff, a selection of hot tubs outside in the forest, and a nice lounge. I didn't want to leave at all, but rather just move in permanently!

This hotel is on Akureyri’s main street, Hafnarstraeti, less than 2 km from Akureyri Airport. It offers en-suite guest rooms, free parking and views of the Eyjafjörður fjord. Husavík is 90 km away.

Absolutely exceptional place. The staffs were amazingly friendly, the breakfast great selection, and the room was so elegantly designed. To some, the room may be on the smaller side, but really, if you're doing a short stay, its really more than enough. Just take a moment to enjoy and notice all the small details that this family had spent time and effort putting into every little thing they present (the toilet paper, the glazed cups, the umbrella!....so many little charming details).

This hotel is centrally located on Akureyri's pedestrian street, by the Eyjafjördur Fjord. It offers in-room tea/coffee makers, dry cleaning services.

My room was very nice and comfortable. Hotel was clean and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the botanical gardens. The food at the restaurant was very good. I would like to mention that the staff were very helpful. Akureyri is a nice place to visit and you can take a day trip to Grimsey Island.

This was the best stay during our trip! An entire small house with two bedrooms and living room/kitchen and a terrace with a grill. Beautiful location - private however only half an hour drive from Akureyri. Perfect when coming for whale watching, driving the Diamond Circle. Totally recommending it.

Everything! Elisabeth is an amazing host. Greeting us with warmth and kindness, making us feel at home right away. She prepared a wonderfully delicious home cooked meal for dinner, the best we had in Iceland. And also breakfast was fantastic, everything homemade. Her attention to detail is remarkable. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely stunning, it's located so well. Literally looking on city, but quiet and peaceful. Everything is very close. Forest lagoon is 5 min away with car.
