Very close to the train station and anything else you needed was just a few minutes walk away. Easy check in and out. Didn’t hear any noise from neighbors, so I was either lucky or the rooms are soundproof. Great food (although I was not able to attend the dinners, but the breakfast was good). The hotel room itself was very comfy and cozy. Might have to come back here someday! 10/10

Very friendly people there, almost family. Everything set up with so much love and passion. Breakfast that created a smile on your face, perfect start into the day. Been there for two days, but are a bit sad we did not plan to stay some more days. Free parking, free bicycles to go to the beach nearby, a daily cookie, lots of things to discover. Whenever we go back to Sweden this is one of the places to be.

Bäckaskog Slott is beautifully situated between the lakes Oppmannasjön and Ivösjön. A monastery was built here in the 13th century and was later converted in to a castle in the 17th century.

Great staff and made to feel really welcomed when we arrived. Dinner in the restaurant was great, food was beautiful.
