A terrace is also available, featuring views of the surrounding nature. Well.. a nice surprise. A few years ago, a colleague stayed a few times and did not rate the place. Not sure if it's changed ownership, but it's a beautiful, quirky building, very nicely restored in a mid century kind of way. I was in a room in the 700s which are on the hillside through a James Bond villain tunnel and lift. Nicely appointed room, well done bathroom all super clean. And an actual minibar. With things in it. Proper cups for coffee, not paper. A former colleague joined for dinner in the Cafe, with well presented food and good service, the downstairs bar is really a hidden gem too. All in all, way exceeded my expectations and thoroughly recommend it.

Location is very central very close to everything. We had a great time there everything was so beautiful. The room was comfortable and very clean and heated very well also. Even though it's shared toilets, which we were a little sceptical about they were very clean and super comfortable and was actually working out very well. Would highly recommend this location.

The location, just outside the village, is excellent. The hosts, an absolutely lovely couple, are excellent: kind, very well spoken, attentive to their guests' needs, and practically always available. Breakfast was excellent, with tons of options, all delicious. The rooms are excellently equipped (with a microwave and fridge, a tea kettle, tea and coffee a-plenty, and of course all the other sundry), the shower is hot and never seemed to run out of water, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, well cared for, and lovingly invite any visitor to take a stroll down to the pond. I normally try to stay in different places when traveling, as I like to experience a wide gamut of what a country has to offer. For Pension Lærkelill, I made an exception and came back on my return trip through Denmark. If possible, the only downside was that I slept so amazingly well, I nearly woke up too late for breakfast. A sign on the wall proclaims: "Mom's hotel: always open". This place lives up to that motto.

The family-run Lunds Hotel is located by Bogense Marina in North Funen. It offers rooms with free wired internet, a furnished patio and views of Æbleø.

During summer, guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the terrace. Gorgeous hotel in fab location. Attractive building with fabulous decor. We particularly appreciated the amazing sea view. It was perfect for our needs - spotlessly clean. The food was the best we’ve had on our tour of Denmark. Breakfast was particularly good.
