Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the children's playground, or enjoy views of the mountain and river. Its the Best place to stay in the golden Circle, the hot tub was incredible, we saw Amazon auroras, the owner was such a cool guy, the Breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend it.

The bright, modern rooms feature wooden floors and private bathrooms. Some include either a terrace or balcony. The surrounding views take in the Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull volcanoes. Our room was lovely, warm and clean. We were super lucky to see the Northern lights there, magical moment ❤️

This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs. It offers horse riding during the summer season, traditional cooking and a geothermal outdoor hot tub. The farm atmosphere / animals gives you relaxed feeling. The room was ready before check in time, so we could do early check-in without extra cost. We needed to wash a few pieces of clothing upon arrival, and the friendly staff washed them right away.

The Umi hotel far exceeded our expectations and was far superior to the others hotels we stayed in. Whether you’re looking for Icelandic specialties or international cuisine, the buffet has something for everyone. Dinner was perfection, with expertly prepared dishes that showcased local ingredients. From fresh seafood to farm-to-table offerings, each meal was a highlight of the stay.
