Absolutely huge room, spotlessly clean, lovely balcony. Hot shower, really kind host, and convenient check out time so after Adams Peak we could come back shower and snooze. They'd also set out tea and coffee at 2:15am for us before the hike up. Would really recommend.

Room was very neat and comfortable. The view from the balcony was stunning. Seman, the owner picked me up from the station and sent me off tl the station. I rented his scorer for two days and it was working perfect. They had everything i wanted. Beyond my expectation. All the family members are very helpful and respecrful. They are friendly but not over-friendly. They are very polite and give me personal space. It is a perfect balance. Aunties food is superb. She said her grandma used to cook in a fancy hotel in Kandy and she got the skills from her. Any international guest will be happy with her food. Even if you find some cheaper places in the area, just book this place. You cannot go wrong.

The place is very clean and neat, we had fresh flowers in the room. The towels and bed linen are clean and feel nice and fresh. The location is up the hill, not close to the city centre, but very close to tea plantations and a nice 10 min road to Gregory lake. The owner is very kind and made sure to extend our stay when we requested, as well as arrange tuk-tuks whenever we needed one. Overall one of the best stays in Sri Lanka so far, highly reccommend.

It’s close to everything. Such a gem if you are on a budget or not.

As an example, it was cold at night and they gave us hot water bag to put on the bed. The bed is comfy, they gave us great breakfast, the view of the city is nice and it is a very comfortable place in general.
