We really enjoyed our stay here, we felt super welcomed, specially by Thapa, who was very attentive and nice. All the staff were super welcoming and helpful. The rooms are exactly as they appear in the pictures, clean, nice and comfortable. The breakfast was great and varied, and the internet worked very well for meetings and remote working. For your comfort, you will find bath robes, slippers and free toiletries. I stayed at Apsara Boutique Hotel with my friend during our trip to Kathmandu, and we had a fantastic experience. We booked a Twin Room, and it was clean, comfortable, and spacious for us to relax. The beds were cozy, the hot shower worked perfectly, and the room was well-maintained. The hotel is located in Thamel, which is a great area for tourists, but Apsara is tucked slightly away from the main road. Another best parts of our stay was the staff who were friendly and genuinely helpful. They gave us great tips on local places to eat, helped us arrange transport, and even guided us to a gear shop nearby when we needed a last-minute item for our hike. If you are visiting Kathmandu with friends, I highly recommend staying at Apsara Boutique Hotel. It offers everything you need: comfort, cleanliness, convenience, and warm hospitality.

We love this Hotel , we stayed 8 nights in the Junior Suite which was absolutely wonderful . Everything every detail from the exceptional food to the kind and thoughtful staff . Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s. The Tibetan-style house has 64 cosy bedrooms, an in house restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. Wi-Fi is free in its public areas. We had great stay. Rooms specious, location is perfect, only 8 minutes to Stupa. Quite neighborhood. Hotel and rooms very clean. Breakfast delicious and service during breakfast 5 star.

Located within 4.4 km of Hanuman Dhoka and 5 km of Kathmandu Durbar Square, The Museum provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kathmandu. My wife and I stayed at The Museum on the first two days of our ten-day trip to Nepal. This was our first time in Kathmandu, and staying at this place was just the great start we needed before heading towards Pokhara. The property is around 3km from Thamel, near the Office of the President of Nepal, in a quiet area. A bus service can take you to Thamel, but we preferred walking. The hotel is part of a compound with the restaurants Le Sherpa and Yakitori Hokkaido, a cafe, and other shops (wasn't interested as food is my strength!). There is also a Sikkimise restaurant outside the compound. We were happy with our room and the service the hotel provided us. In addition to that, we asked for help to book a bus ticket for Pokhara. Mr. Saroj was more than helpful and got us the ticket. Overall, it was a lovely experience.

The hotel only has a small amount of rooms, which makes the place tranquil and cozy. A great place to rest up during your stay in this busy and chaotic city. We had a lovely stay and we can't recommend them enough.
