My traveling companion is allergic to gluten and the personel put together a complete breakfast that suited their needs - gluten free bread, salad, dressings, etc. The personel was exceptionally good, great service, very kind and they even upgraded us to a bigger room free of charge when it wasn't booked anymore. Additionally, they offered to drive us to the local train station when we were leaving. The onsen baths were good, the location great, the local scenery was also perfect for a stroll. Overall a 11/10 experience, the personel service goes unmatched anything I have ever experienced during my travels.

The host and staff were extremely kind and helpful. Since it was raining at my arrival, they were kind enough to pick me up at the station even without me asking. Riye, in particular was very sweet and explained me everything from food to customs. The room was amazing it really felt like going back to Edo period. The food was delicious both during breakfast and dinner. Obviously the onsen was cosy and relaxing. This was among my favourite stays in Japan. Thank you so much to all the staff!

Excellent experience! I was very impressed by the room and the meal. Everything is nice there especially the staffs who are really friendly and always willing for helping. They will pay attention to your every living habit and always give you the best service. The view is also excellent, feeling so good surrounded by the nature. This was our first visit to Japan. My friends recommended this place specifically because it has a homely atmosphere. The owner gave us a short tour and took us to Toshogu Shrine. Location is close to the temples. Yukatas provided are vary comfortable. Onsen was fun. Somehow, sleep on Futons was best in the entire trip.
