Beautiful spacious room in a beautiful location overlooking the river. Our room has kotatsu and futon! Our host, Akira, pick us up from station. Akira and family are very welcoming and friendly. The onsen is private which is nice, and we had fun going to the onsen. The breakfast is beautiful and filling. Love the variety of vegetables in it. Akira's mother bring us to the monkey park in the morning. Overall, we have the loveliest time and would recommend this place! <3

This onsen hotel is a pearl if u like traditional Japanese style stay, and we enjoyed the most. It's spotless clean and cosy. The private onsen room is huge. The couple who runs the place were so nice and friendly. On top of shuttling us to the monkey park, they loaned us rubber boots to wear for the hike up because it was pretty muddy at the time. Our room on the fourth floor had its own bath and a balcony with a view, and the futons we slept on were super comfortable. There’s an onsen in the building and a public one outside not too far away, and we made full use of both! I especially liked the variety of yukata patterns we could choose. Upon checkout, we were given a cute five yen coin ribbon charm to take home ☺️
