We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Eidaya. The staff were all lovely, especially the young gentleman who served us during our meals, and the owner was also very warm and welcoming. The food was great and they were able to cater to our allergies/dietary requirements. I also loved all the retro games and decor - it felt like a lot of love and thought had been put in to the ryokan!

All units will provide guests with air conditioning, a safety deposit box and a flat-screen TV. Everything was perfect! First of all the service was incredible, Mikki was the warmest host always making you feel like home, she even spoke a few words in Spanish making me feel extra welcome. The room was very big and incredibly clean a cozy. We added dinner on the first night and every dish was delicious!!!!! The onsen was also lovely and had the luck of being alone every time I went to take a dip. I’m looking forward to be back, our stay made our trip to Kusatsu a dreamy experience 💗

A wooden building stemming from 100 years ago, the property breathes a historical atmosphere. This place is just on the top of my ranking. A real Japanese experience with all the necessary detail to make the stay unforgettable. The different baths super clean and with history. The meals offered were delightful. And the environment just as needed, calm, serene and peaceful.
