Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. Only some rooms include a balcony, tatami floors, and free toiletries. I particularly loved the common areas. There were lots of extras that you wouldn't find in other places, e.g. many different coffee and tea options, all free of charge. It would be very easy to self-cater here as there is a full kitchen, plus large fridge and freezer. It's a beautiful place

Beautiful experience, I was welcomed warmly by a lady of the staff, who knew basic English, just like most of the stuff I've had the pleasure of meeting. On top of that, they were very friendly and ready to help. There were many useful facilities in the common area I've used, like the fridge, the laundry machine and a scale. I recommend this place, as it also has good access to the metro stations.

Japanese cleanliness! Breakfast and dinner buffet really ritch and tasty, some western options as well for people with no preferance to Asian cuisine. Staff polite and helpful. Onsen area was really nice. The shop near the lobby was useful Beautiful footbath area, enjoying an icecream there was a highlight with the view while soaking my feet after breakfast was a highlight

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Guests can find a private hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant on site.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. The property boasts views of Tonomine, Myojogatake and Mount Asama. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Absolutely everything. Amazing value for money.

Air-conditioned rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread to sleep in. Amenities include an LCD TV, fridge, a safe and yukata robes. All rooms have a private toilet and washbasin, while bathroom facilities are shared. Green tea sets with snacks are provided. Totally worth it. Our experience in hakone wouldnt have been the same if we wouldnt have stayed in the hotel. Totally recommeded to get the dinner as there’re not much restaurants near by

A fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags are included in each room. All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a toilet and shower, while some rooms have a bathtub. A really beautiful hotel on a quiet street. The staff were very sweet and accommodating to all our needs. The private bath was wonderful and the breakfast was also very good.

Main Dining Room "The Fujiya" serves French cuisine in an elegant space. Restaurant Cascade offers Western dishes, while Kikka-so serves traditional Japanese kaiseki dinners. A bar, lounge and bakery are available. Really quaint traditional colonial hotel dating from 1884. Nice Onsen Big rooms

At the ryokan, every unit is fitted with a tatami and a flat-screen TV. There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. The units are equipped with heating facilities. The Ryokan is so lovely! The owner is very welcoming and so nice! The property is well located, near to the station so it’s convenient to move around Tokyo, and there is also a convenience store just in front of the Ryokan. The room is so nice and have everything we need to have a comfortable stay! It was such a nice experience. I would definitely come back during my next trip in Tokyo!

The air-conditioned rooms at Ryokan Annex Katsutaro feature Japanese futon bedding, and each has a TV and fridge. The attached bathroom includes a bathtub. This is my 4th time staying here! I love the location, the vibe, and the hospitality of the staff and owner. It reminds me of when you are staying at a close relatives' house. Yanaka Ginza is very close. Sendagi Subway station is also super close or you can walk a bit more to Nippori station. This hotel is my fav place !
