Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. Only some rooms include a balcony, tatami floors, and free toiletries. Wonderful onsen and location. The bed in the dorm is larger than I expected.

Amazing hotel, stayed at the traditional room, very comfy and clean. Staff is lovely, very tasty breakfast and tea ceremony is highly recommended. The area is nice, a lot of little cafes around and there is 24/7 supermarket around the corner. Great place to come back to after exploring Tokyo as the area is nice and quiet.

Main Dining Room "The Fujiya" serves French cuisine in an elegant space. Restaurant Cascade offers Western dishes, while Kikka-so serves traditional Japanese kaiseki dinners. A bar, lounge and bakery are available. The hotel went beyond our expectations. Everything was excellent from the moment we arrived to when we checked-out. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and professional, the onsen area is beautiful and has a view over the mountains surrounding the hotel. For breakfast, we opted for the traditional Japanese restaurant and everything was perfect, form the food to the ambience and the location.
