It also boasts a thermal-heated indoor swimming pool. Free WiFi is provided in public areas. We booked a Japanese-style riverside villa with our own private bath — the spacious interior and beautiful outdoor views were well worth the price. There were many different types of public baths too with varying views/ambiances. Dinner and breakfast were top-notch — you can tell that they’re made of quality ingredients.

It is located 26 km from Crasus Dome Oita and features a lift. The ryokan offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Very nice staff, amazing experience, opportunity to do an onsen in privacy.

The property has mountain and city views, and is 47 km from Crasus Dome Oita. The ryokan features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Nice quiet corner beside a river with running water sounds, beside a rice Paddy field facing mountain views. Breakfast is great, Japanese style with many small dishes serving. Imagine after a morning spring bath your breakfast is ready to serve you that feeling is so great.

Providing city views, Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA is located in the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, 26 km from Crasus Dome Oita and 5.5 km from Beppu Station. Featuring a shared lounge, the 2-star ryokan has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Hiromiya onsen is in a great location, having very nice public baths close and almost all of the 7 hells too. The host was very kind and gave us a lot of help and information about the area. Loved the comfy beds on the tatami.

Ideally set in the Yufuin Onsen district, this ryokan provides an open-air bath, as well as a public bath. The accommodation features luggage storage space and a housekeeping service for guests. Wonderful onsen ryokan in the outskirts of Yufuin, with incredibly friendly staff and a beautiful view of Mt Yufu. The food is soooo good! We stayed for two night and had two different dinner courses, both of which were lovely. The outdoor bath in the room Botan was a highlight as well — so lovely to relax in the bath with a view of the valley and mountains.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the ryokan free of charge. Guests can use the hot spring bath and the public bath, or enjoy mountain views. Absolutely amazing onsen. A definite top 5 for me. We got the room with a private one and it was simply so amazing to have that within seconds of your room. Also it felt like the water in the private in room onsens had much more minerals than the large one but the large one is well worth a stay too as it feels so free to be the only one there and gazing upon the mountains as you bathe.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking ryokan has a hot spring bath. One of the MOST comfortable and peaceful stays I’ve ever had in Japan. I had very good sleeps and rests each night in a very comfortable Japanese, tatami style room. I really felt like a childhood home. It was very comfortable. The room was big with it’s own VERY LOVELY porch. Waking up every morning and drinking tea and eating their DELICIOUS breakfast each morning was a joy and I really felt at peace. Assi chan the cat has been keeping me company during my solo stay in the inn. She is THE SWEETEST The bathroom and toilet are not attached to the room but not an issue at all as the place is small and very comfortable and clean I’ve never stayed at a place this HOMEY before. I wish I had stayed longer. I’m definitely coming back to Assi again when I visit Yufuin next time
