Maybe the best hotel experience I've had. The amazing view from the room window, the service, the design of the hotel, the food (It's actually dinner served in the lounge), and of course the wonderful onsen. The price was relatively reasonable.

It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. Everything was great, better than expected. We had room with private Onsen on the balcony but also used private onsen on 6th floor which is bigger. Staff were amazing. Great food as well.

Each room includes a fridge, private toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor is provided. Yukata robes are offered for guests. The Staff was exceptional! The shuttle was always ready to take you anywhere.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. Everything, from the front desk, staff, facilities in general, the upgrade room to president room and so on, also I would like to highlight here the special attention from Veronica, who took care the services in our breakfast and dinner, she was amazing!! Very polite and courteous with us.

八海 木花館 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Oshino, 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. Every room comes with a balcony with garden views. I can’t even believe this place. Room is good for 4 people. You basically have a house to yourself. There is a private onsen with Fuji views. The views of Fuji in my living room and dining room are crazy too — amazing!! Also, everything is very well thought-out!! Omakase dinner and breakfast are chef’s kiss ✨ Staff is super helpful — they even helped map out my route from the ryokan to Osaka. The floors are heated — the water is never cold (I went in winter). You even have a little garden to yourself with a table and chairs outside so you can look at Fuji while drinking tea. But I would recommend that in Spring lol as it’s super cold in winter outside.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. We loved this place! Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Google translator helped us to communicate. It's a hotel with traditional Japanese rooms with futons and shared bathrooms. I would recommend booking with breakfast and dinner! The food they prepared was delicious. To hotel is just a short walk away from the lake with the most beautiful view onto Mt Fuji. The hotel had plenty of parking and the whole building was spotless. We loved our stay there and would absolutely come back

Shoji Lake Hotel provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 18 km of Lake Kawaguchi and 18 km of Fuji-Q Highland. With an open-air bath, the 3-star ryokan has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. My mum and I stayed for two nights in this hotel and it was a wonderful stay. As we got off the bus the wonderful owner came and greeted us and welcomed us with tea and check in instructions. We were fortunate enough to have clear sky and the reflection on the lake of Fuji San is incredible. The room had the most amazing view of Fuji San, space, comfort and amenities. The lake location has two small cafe/restaurants that we visited. We also had one dinner in the common area, as the restaurants close early, again with an amazing view.They also sell drinks and snacks/ramen in reception too. The onsens are open until late and are very wonderful. A gorgeous panoramic 1 hour hike can be found 5 minutes walk from the hotel. All in all the stay was very lovely, the most memorable take away has to be the kind staff who were lovely to chat too, attentive and kind. The owner, a wonderful man who made us feel most welcome in his hotel. Would love to visit again.

Located just a minute's walk from Kawaguchiko Lake, Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel offers accommodation in Fujikawaguchiko, near Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property. The hotel is a minutes' walk away from the shores of Kawaguchiko and Kawaguchiko Herbkan. We loved everything—location, our Japanese style room with stunning view of Fujisan, the owner, the onsen, etc.

Set in Fujikawaguchiko and only 2 km from Lake Kawaguchi, Taiheikan offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This 3-star ryokan provides a spa experience, with its hot spring bath and public bath. The accommodation features free shuttle service and luggage storage space for guests. Really lovely inn. My best experience at an accommodation by far. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They had even studied a few words in my native language (Finnish) to greet me. Really brought a smile to my face and felt like I was really taken care of. They were very helpful and taught me about Fuji. My Japanese skills weren't really good, but the staff were patient and very understanding. The onsen was great and I felt really relaxed after enjoying one. A yukata was also provided to be worn during the stay. There were clear instructions on how to properly wear one and it was beautiful and comfy to wear. There was also a good view of Mt. Fuji out of the room's window. I happened to be lucky and have a view without clouds. The room was a traditional tatami-mat room and there were lots of necessities provided. Also green tea and sweets came with the room. I really hope to visit again in the future.

Yamadaya Hotel, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Fujikawaguchiko, 19 km from Fuji-Q Highland, 39 km from Mount Fuji, as well as 300 metres from Lake Shojiko. The property has mountain and lake views, and is 18 km from Lake Kawaguchi. The ryokan features a hot spring bath and luggage storage space. The facilities are a little dated but perfectly clean and functional. The rooms are traditional Japanese style with mount fuji view that makes you travel in time. The person al was unbelievably friendly in a family like atmosphere.
