Basic Japanese-style rooms overlook the temple compound, and feature a tatami (woven mat) floor, on which traditional futon bedding is spread to sleep in. They are fitted with air conditioning and a safe. I liked absolutely everything. The room, the food, the premises, writing sutras, morning prayers and of course the spacious public bath. I'll definitely stay again when I can.
