The private outdoor onsen was simply spectacular, offering a serene and private escape. It felt like having our own private villa in the heart of nature. Yufuin itself is a charming town, adding to the overall magic of the stay. What's even more surprising is the affordability of this luxurious retreat. Having stayed in much pricier onsen resorts before, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. I can't wait to return to this little piece of paradise in Japan. Highly recommended!

It's clean, decorated, fully equipped with amenities, in addition to having a private onsen and a washing machine that doesn't require coins. The location is great, 5 minutes walk from Yufu station and bus terminal as well as having a 7/11 and a Lawson nearby. Also there's Assi the cat herself, who's very playful and goofy.

Good service with privacy during baths and meals. Food was delicious.

We loved everything about this ryokan! The room, the onsen, the food, and the service were all excellent. We felt as if we were staying in a 5-star hotel with very attentive and considerate hospitality. The generous and delicious kaiseki dinners and the abundant teishoku breakfasts were a highlight. This is truly a place where you can eat well and completely relax.
