Maybe the best hotel experience I've had. The amazing view from the room window, the service, the design of the hotel, the food (It's actually dinner served in the lounge), and of course the wonderful onsen. The price was relatively reasonable.

It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. Amazing wiew, delicious dinner and really comfortable and wonderful staff. Massage and private Onsen were amazing with stunning wiew of Fuji. Lake is opposite of the hotel, also they have a free château transfer to the bus and train station. It was really comfortable. Hope will come back next year.

The air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Asafuji have Shoji paper screens and a low table with floor chairs and cushions. Each room includes a fridge, private toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor is provided. Yukata robes are offered for guests. The Staff was exceptional! The shuttle was always ready to take you anywhere.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. Everything, from the front desk, staff, facilities in general, the upgrade room to president room and so on, also I would like to highlight here the special attention from Veronica, who took care the services in our breakfast and dinner, she was amazing!! Very polite and courteous with us.

八海 木花館 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Oshino, 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. Every room comes with a balcony with garden views. I can’t even believe this place. Room is good for 4 people. You basically have a house to yourself. There is a private onsen with Fuji views. The views of Fuji in my living room and dining room are crazy too — amazing!! Also, everything is very well thought-out!! Omakase dinner and breakfast are chef’s kiss ✨ Staff is super helpful — they even helped map out my route from the ryokan to Osaka. The floors are heated — the water is never cold (I went in winter). You even have a little garden to yourself with a table and chairs outside so you can look at Fuji while drinking tea. But I would recommend that in Spring lol as it’s super cold in winter outside.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Very good located, close to Hirano bus station. Excellent view of Mount Fuji. Big and clean room. The food is delicious, probably the best I ate in Japan. The staff is very nice.

Shoji Lake Hotel provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 18 km of Lake Kawaguchi and 18 km of Fuji-Q Highland. With an open-air bath, the 3-star ryokan has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. My mum and I stayed for two nights in this hotel and it was a wonderful stay. As we got off the bus the wonderful owner came and greeted us and welcomed us with tea and check in instructions. We were fortunate enough to have clear sky and the reflection on the lake of Fuji San is incredible. The room had the most amazing view of Fuji San, space, comfort and amenities. The lake location has two small cafe/restaurants that we visited. We also had one dinner in the common area, as the restaurants close early, again with an amazing view.They also sell drinks and snacks/ramen in reception too. The onsens are open until late and are very wonderful. A gorgeous panoramic 1 hour hike can be found 5 minutes walk from the hotel. All in all the stay was very lovely, the most memorable take away has to be the kind staff who were lovely to chat too, attentive and kind. The owner, a wonderful man who made us feel most welcome in his hotel. Would love to visit again.

At the ryokan, each unit has a tatami. Some accommodation includes a terrace with garden views, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with bidet. The units are equipped with heating facilities. The location is amazing. Close to main shrine as well as small town. Room was clean, food was absolutely amazing and filling. There is a possibility to reserve a private bath (for free) that reinvigorates you. The stay and the atmosphere is really unique with authentic temple lodging. Would 100% come back

Located just a minute's walk from Kawaguchiko Lake, Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel offers accommodation in Fujikawaguchiko, near Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property. The hotel is a minutes' walk away from the shores of Kawaguchiko and Kawaguchiko Herbkan. The owner was extremely kind and helpful. He welcomed us with great service and patience, and explained many useful information such as tourist attractions around the area, how to enjoy Japanese-style room and wear yutaka etc. The room has beautiful view with affordable price.

Set in Fujikawaguchiko and only 2 km from Lake Kawaguchi, Taiheikan offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This 3-star ryokan provides a spa experience, with its hot spring bath and public bath. The accommodation features free shuttle service and luggage storage space for guests. Very friendly and hearty staff. We were picked up from the train station and dropped off when we left. The staff went over and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable in this traditional Japanese style hotel. The onsen was great! Thank you 🙏🏻
