We enjoyed how the Hotel was interactive- more than just a lobby & restaurant.
We inadvertently forgot a small pillow from home,in our room when we checked out. Initially, the first time we phoned about it, we were told that it was our responsibility to arrange for shipping it back to us. The second call to Hotel Zed, the person answering immediately said that they could send it to us ~ no problem. We received it back yesterday. It may be just a pillow , but it has extreme sentimental value.

Stunning beaches to hike and bring dogs with great surfing spots and wildlife trails. It was so beautiful and serene. The town was adorable with lots of great shops and restaurants. Our favorite was the authentic Italian wood-fired pizza place called Basic Goodness. Try the pistachio cream pizza--INSANE. The owners are so friendly and sweet! Staff too! We also ate an amazing meal at The Pointe restaurant for my partner's birthday. We were treated like royalty and they even printed a birthday wish on his menu. First class and beautiful sweeping views. Make reservations! We booked another week in Tofino to go surfing (and eating pizza) in July!CathleenUnited States - 10Scored 10

Beautiful little town with excellent restaurants and art galleries. Long and deep beaches to view and walk on, as well as easy hiking trails with spectacular views of the coast. Even spotted a few otters during our walk.

I absolutely love going to Tofino.
I absolutely love going to Tofino. There are so many places to stay, so many restaurants to eat at, and also so many things to do during the day. Definitely check out one of the many companies that offer well watching, bear, watching, or a Hot Springs tour it is worth your time.sarahCanada - 10Scored 10

We loved Tofino and highly recommend it for a stay. Beautiful part of the country. Great food. Lots of outdoor activities. Took a boat trip with Remote Passages to see the bears and it was a fantastic 3 hours. Stayed at Chesterman beach which is a great location - Seafarer B&B (friendly, comfortable and quiet). Had huge breakfasts provided at the B&B and didn’t need to eat again until dinner! Had great meals at The Shelter and Roar (which is in the Zed Hotel) Restaurants. Drove 40 minutes to Ucluelet one day to walk tracks around Wild Pacific Rim. Fantastic photos - eagles, seal, landscape, rock pools. Lovely cafes.MarkNew Zealand - 10Scored 10
Tofino is worth the drive.
Tofino is worth the drive. Loved the casual vibe of this remote surf town. In winter it was delightful. We went up to Ucluelet and did a walk. We surfed in very thick wetsuits, and we had a sauna on the beach. The whale watching in winter didn't seem to be so easy to find.FranceneAustralia

The location was great for exploring the surrounding beaches - we could walk to Mackenzie beach in about 10 minutes (perfect for sunset), and various cafes and restaurants, bike rentals etc. Short drive or bike ride into town if needed. We arrived during the heat wave and they had fans turned on to keep the room cooler before our arrival. The room is very spacious, with a kitchen that was very useful during our stay and there is a large balcony with a great view of the sunset during summer. They provide free parking. The staff provided a lot of information about the accommodation and Tofino before our arrival. They also informed about the road closures that we needed to be aware.AndersonCanada

I loved it and I would go back in a heartbeat. The location was right downtown Tofino and easy walking to all coffee shops gift shops, ocean views, and hikes.

The beach was clean and beautiful the coffee, Rhino, made in Tofino was FABULOUS!! The staff were friendly and helpful and tried their best to accommodate us and in fact went out of their way to get us into our next room as fast as they could. I would most definatly stay here again.

We were lucky that our cabin had a nice unobstructed view of the ocean. Most cabins off the beach would only have a view of another cabin, unless you’re on the upper floor. Staff was amazing. The cabin was very clean, and they have fire pits to sit around!
