Skala is a really lovely place, with fantastic restaurants, cafes and bakeries. The food is really reasonable and Skala is easy to get around. We got the bus up to Argostoli for the day and it was really good to go up and see there again. The buses are a bit limited this time of year but we got a taxi back and it was well worth it for a full day up there. Skala is a really friendly place and you are made to feel so welcome. it is such a lovely place to visit and see with stunning views and lovely people.

Restaurants are excellent with plenty of choice, Flamingo our favourite, beach is long and easy to walk along. Central to visit other areas in south of island. Everywhere people friendly and welcoming.

It’s a great location.
It’s a great location. It has bars and restaurants but not big night life. Which I like. More family and friends & couples. Which makes the area even more special. No big groups of party etc. Any restaurant on the square is great. Skala has the right balance of restaurants Taverners , beaches cocktail bars and a lively dancing bar suited for older people. Places for coffee. No real negatives. Something for everyone. Pool area was lovely and nice taverna with good food on site. There is also a really well-stocked bar and happy hour cocktails! Staff in the restaurant and bar were very friendly, Elis made wonderful cocktails which we'd go back every night for! Also highly recommend the boat trip around Kefalonia, which goes from the Paspalis beach which is really handy! Would recommend to friends and family as the perfect base for a holiday in Skala

Air conditioning in all rooms, parking place, shower outside to get rid of sand when coming from beach, in one sentence "the perfect place to stay when in kefalonia". This was a beautiful find! also because we booked in May for our honeymoon, it wasn't that touristy in Kefalonia so we had the pool to ourselves also which was a great bonus. This was a super clean, wonderful apartment, great size and super welcoming hosts that laid out a congratulations card and wine and key ring which was very kind and thoughtful.
