Ms. Astine!! Senegal is the "Land of Teraanga" (Hospitality) and Ms. Astine did not disappoint. Gracious, humble and kind host. She has the unique ability to be available but not pushy. The house was spotless and maintained daily (quietly and quickly). Physical location: Spacious...all rooms are ensuite and equipped with individual balconies/outdoor spaces...warm showers..open concept kitchen...amazing views of the coastline...wi-fi is sufficient for working remotely.

This was a welcome respite from the crazy energy of Dakar. It’s in Toubab Dialaw, roughly 30-min from the DSS airport and it feels worlds away from everything. Fred and her husband were beyond kind and generous with their reccommendations, meals, suggestions and help getting from Dakar to their place and then to the airport. I cannot reccommend this place enough. It is tucked away in a quiet village and just a short walk to one of the best beaches and restaurants that I experienced while in Senegal. Beautiful, spotless stay with your own terrace and a refreshing pool just steps away. This is one place I will seek out when we return to Senegal.

Wonderful hosts, Mariam was a great cook as well. I loved sharing breakfast and dinner at Ker Lep Jamm. Not too far from the beach and the neighbors were very friendly! They were so kind to organize a taxi for me from the airport and booking was simple and easy. Truly was an authentic experience here. I would return again!
