The room was nice and the view beautiful of the ocean and pool. The restaurant was not open due to a remodel. The staff did say it would be open the next day and then not. The last two days they did have a food truck. The staff did apologize for no restaurant. They were helpful getting towels daily and other toiletries. The stay was mostly very nice.

Coffee tasted like it was made the previous day, so didnt eat there. Coffee most important. Did not make it in room either. Went to a coffee shop in Beaufort.

Atlantic Beach is a nice town right across the bridge from Morehead City, NC. Paid parking available but not many spaces to park plus not enough public access to beach areas. We did like the few shops near the beach and beach shops on the main road. Visited the aquarium which was very nice.
Visited the aquarium which was very nice. Did hour and half cruise from Beaufort to Moorehead. Very nice captain and deck hand. Saw dolphins at Ft Macon . The beach was not crowded . Ate at Cox's restaurant where the locals go. Food was good and reasonably priced. My husband loves Sanitary seafood restaurant and he said the shrimp and grits were excellent. I'm allergic to seafood so I had steak and it was perfectly cooked.

Beautiful beach with very nice accommodation but not overrun and not a big party town, which we enjoyed very much. Lots to see and do nearby and the whole area is very family friendly. This goes from nice state parks to a very nice aquarium that is only a short drive away. For us, the main attraction was the beach and the ocean, which we enjoyed daily while there. I use to own a timeshare here but gave it up due to ridiculous extra fees then kept adding on but wanted to visit one more time. Boy was that a mistake. They have really let the housekeeping & lawn care go down hill really bad. Would not recommend this place . Atlantic Beach is a great Beach town.
Atlantic Beach is a great Beach town. There are easy public access points. Fort Macon is also a fun place to visit and has access to the beach. Our favorite restaurant there is the Shark Shack! Be aware it is closed on Sunday and Monday. Those were the days we were there last, so we missed eating there on this trip. We just need to go back. The "vibe" at Atlantic Beach is family-friendly and welcoming. There is just enough "to do" without having so much that it becomes a distraction from the beach. Can't wait to return!

I like the size of the rooms, the fact that there’s a small kitchenette, although no stove. They have laundry facilities in the hotel that you can pay for, there is a nice clean pool on the property.
