This place is exactly as it appears in the photos. It was perfectly clean. The kitchen was a huge bonus; it had everything we needed and having a coffee machine was the cherry on top. A truly great stay.

This is exactly what the photo shows. Everything works perfectly. We walked across from the bus station straight to the apartment. We were content to walk into town, thought there are regular buses. Building work on a small garage is being undertaken opposite, but it never bothered us as we were out. during the day.

The property has been newly built with excellent quality finishes and everything that was required. The Aircon in the bedrooms were a welcome respite after a hot day touring around. The host was very friendly and explained how everything worked. There was an excellent restaurant (Panarama) just up the road that served tasty Albanian food at reasonable prices. A local bar and market were within walking distance.

The surroundings are stunning, olive yards, grapeyards, wild pomegranate trees and wild turtles (4 have chosen to stay in the garden). If you are looking for peace and quiet, basic and rustique living and nature all around, this is the place for you. Once you are lying in the hammock on the veranda, you never want to leave again.

The location is a few minutes drive to city center, your have good view to the castle above, and you get to experience an ordinary Albanian people in a nice and friendly hood. The apartment is run by a family a who invest and support their town and country by renovating their apartments to high standards , we had a pleasant and great experience here, and the host was very kind and helpful, also provided lots of valuable information. The apartment is super cool and high standard., Love the attaintion to every detail, you can tell its thought through and much effort and love put into the renovation, dont miss it if you should find your self in Berat, we loooved and enjoyed our stay here.

The hosts, Besim and his wife, are very attentive: they waited for our late arrival to let us park on the property, and served delicious breakfasts. The property is very clean, the beds are comfortable, the balcony with a view of the castle has a sofa and a small table where we ate some meals. While the location is around 25 minutes of walking away from the main attractions, the atmosphere in the quarter is lovely. When we arrived on a Sunday, we felt transported back to the 1960s and '70s in terms of social interaction: groups of elderly sitting in the shade and talking, kids riding bycicles and playing ball, women with strollers chatting, a serene sense of weekend calm. Peole were talking to each other, very few on their phones! A great market is held on weekdays nearby. The walk back from the old town or castle in the evening was lovely in the cool evening air.
