The accommodation is a well equipped studio in a very quiet and remote area outside of the little village Los Planes. We enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace with watching and listening to many different birds. There is a good panaderia (Cielo y tierra) in Los Planes. Only 5-10 minutes by car away is gorgeous Las Caletas beach. From there you can also make a beautiful hike to Drake Bay or/and San Josecito bay which we can highly recommend. We also walked to the rainforest platform of the owner's father which was a very particular experience.

Wonderful place at the edge of the jungle. we were picked when we arrived at the beach and drove by a supermarket to get supplies. Rooms a spacious clean and cool made, it's a place you can really spent time just hanging out in the garden or on the balcony. The owners are really friendly and informative. We really enjoyed our week there.

Location in the middle of the jungle! Saw some toucans, lots of hummingbirds and other birds around. Keep in mind that if you don't have a car you need to take a taxi for 10us one way. It's REALLY a long walk to the town. The bugalow was spacious, nice and clean. Great for the price. Internet works in the common space but is really slow. Super nice owner that will call you taxis and organize everything you need.

Great stay in Drake Bay! Beaches, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Very inviting socializing area with kitchen and hammocks. And Javier, the host, is always happy to organize tours for you, even including the breakfast. Had the pleasure to have himself as guide in Corcovado - something you shouldn't miss!!

A very nice place close to the main beach. We got a cozy room with its own bathroom, not sure how the shared ones look. There is also a nice shared kitchen, which was actually very clean. The staff was nice and helpful. Definitely worth the money.

Great spot, right at the beach. You can hear the waves at night. Ana and Gio are great hosts. They gave us nice advice about things to do. The co-living in the house went very smooth. The bed was very big and comfortabel. We slept downstairs. Ana was so kind to bring some forgotten clothes all the way to San Isidro. Thank you both so much :). A real heaven. The apartment is new, very well furnished and extremely comfortable, even more than you can expect. Perfect cleaning. The location is astonishing. The house is surrounded by a very nice, large and well-kept garden, visited by many birds and mammals. The beach is more or less 150 meters from the house and is a postcard place: kilometers of sand with palm trees, no people around. The place is also a perfect starting point to explore the nearby Corcovado National Park and for whale watching tours. The hosts Karin and Nony really went out of their way to help us preparing our travel, with really a lot of info and useful tips. Unfortunately Nony was not present in the very days of our visit so we missed the tours with him and couldn’t enjoy his knowledge of the ecosystems and of the area. However Karin was always attentive and helpful, a really perfect host. She also shared the fruits of the garden with us and transmitted us her enthusiasm for living there, surrounded by such a luxuriant nature. A beautiful experience, both naturalistically and humanly.
