Booked for (unfortunately) only one night for our journey home (NL). Upon arrival a true color revolution! We were warmly welcomed and I suspect that we were their first guests so they made a little extra effort ;-) including a refrigerator full of cold water, a bowl of fruit, enough Nespresso cups, cookies for with coffee, and also a gift (a jar of real honey), and oh yes a bunch of flowers! After many experiences richer we are now prepared for all the shortcomings but here for once nothing was missing at all, okay there was no meat for the barbecue but there were coals! What an overcomplete accommodation and what a space, we were really completely surprised, especially for the price we paid. We also slept wonderfully and were able to continue our journey well rested. The accommodation is located in a quiet neighborhood on a private property that is closed off with a fence (so that the horses do not escape). Furthermore, there are security cameras (also in the accommodation). In the weekend you can possibly enjoy the local football club. For groceries there is an Aldi and a bakery nearby. Highly recommended!

It was the most tranquil area. Ariane was a perfect hostess and was very very helpful. Everything we needed was there. We were very sad to leave . Bed and bedding lovely and comfortable.

The location was very convenient for us, traveling to a Baptism and Birthday party in a nearby village over the weekend. Very spacious house, main reception full of character - it used to be a local cafe and the original decoration is still there. The living room had a sofa bed which was a godsend for my mother as she has difficulty with stairs now. The living room and all bedrooms had TV's (though we didn't use them) and the wifi was more than adequate. The kitchen was very well equipped and opened onto the dining room which meant the kids didn't bring food through the house. Beds were very comfortable and there was a great shower. A small issue with the dish washer was fixed immediately - the hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Review of Maison du Bonheur avce Grand Souirire I highly recommend this place to everyone. Hospitality, the most positive smiles in the world, and so much love and joy. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures. I was even allowed to wash my clothes, and they trusted me with the house all to myself. We're on a cycling tour and this was a good location for us,I can not fault this apartment,it was immaculate a wonderful size bathroom , everything you need to make a simple meal,very comfortable bed and safe storage for our bikes ,thank you and excellent value too, easy entry and felt private too ,no need to see the host unless you needed too

Overall, everything was amazing! The apartment was super clean, almost like no one has been there before. Neccessities were also included. The landlord was attentive and sympathetic. He even offered to communicate in English, which worked well both over text and in person. He would reply quickly to our texts and answered our questions, while also offering recommendations for restaurants or sights to visit. Check out was easy and quick as well, so we had no problem with anything regarding it. The train station is 2-3 minutes away, depending on how fast you walk and grocery stores are accessible. Even though it's close to the train station, you can barely hear the trains. The only thing we heard was the honking, but apart from that it was very quiet. You can walk downtown or to a very beautiful park in only 10-15 minutes each. We definitely enjoyed our time here.
