The host prepared the hot tub and welcome us upon arrival, as well as orientating us around the property. The pictures in the property listing does no justice to how it actually looks in reality and it exceeds our expectation. As mentioned by some of their previous guests, this was one of the best accommodation and highlight of our trip in Iceland. The property was huge, with two toilets (one with bath / shower and one only with shower), two washing machine and dryer, huge area for drying the clothes, great outdoor spaces, fully equipped kitchen and lots of space for chilling and resting. Highly recommend

Everything was perfect—it was clean and tidy, and the host was really nice too. They told us about fun places to visit nearby, making this the best night’s sleep I had during my time in Iceland.

As usual, wonderful cottage, refubished and a bit renovated (well, it's the 6th time we stay at hvammstangi cottages, and they're always great)! Plenty of space inside, cottage and bathroom spotless clean, nice kitchen, microwave and lot of pots , pans and dishware. Nice sofabed (we use it as sofa, and very comfortable for 3 adults). Smart-TV, nice bunk-bed (two people under and one above, but very comfortable nonetheless). Best thing? northen lights! it was our 4th time during autumn-winter and we always were lucky to see them! this time as well. No artificial lights aroud, just nature and its wonderful magic! 20 minutes drive and you could see seals in their natural enviroment, so lovely!! definitely we'll be back! thank you so much again!!

It is a old bungalow converted to Guesthouse. It has all the facilities and many rooms. Has a small garden and one can go down to the sea if weather permits. It is way from the ring road but a very adorable property. Owners left fresh milk for us, it was delicious.

All was so nice, the position directly on the coast. We saw seal in the morning playing around. We just didn't have a luck with aurora :(. The rooms are nice and cosy and big. Kitchen perfect.

This guesthouse is the perfect stop to go to the Westfiords. On the land you have also a nice walk to go to see three private waterfalls. Kitchen was very well equipped with some common goods like salt, oils, biscuits and cereals (very appreciated). Rooms are very big and affordable with very comfortable beds.
